In Del Webb retirement community so a few Q-tips playing which is great to see.
Great shape and could play the ball down for the most part by hitting it where Billy Casper intended.
A little mud on the ball occassionally. Three inches of rain week prior.
Greens great shape tee boxes will come around with sunshine warmer weather.
Give it a try for a fun time.

Remembering those who gave all Monday 5/29

Played 8/23/2015 and got slayed so I had to return for a rematch but this time alone. Made a few more pars but a few higher "other" scores as well.
Just a top notch facility and ultra friendly helpful staff.
They welcomed me back by name in the pro shop!
A must play if you enjoy mountain golf, but expect to be humbled if you're not a stick. (low handicap)

Was in great shape and fun to play near the end of the day.

The level of personal service makes you feel welcome at this nice nine in the trees.

Can always find more than yours on every green, but not as many as other area courses. Come on players fix'em it's easy.

Small poa annua greens well kept. Staff good. Yamaha carts good and clean. Overall a good value. Has new black tees now I didn't remember from before. Played whites (play it forward) and made more pars than average. good day.

Excellent fall weather for golf so the course played firm and fast. Greens good a few too many ball marks and a bit slow but overall better than average for a public course.
The changes made from when it was a private course to today have made it more playable for the average golfer. But the course has lost it's wow factor of beauty on every hole that the designer Kyle Philips built in 2002.
Certainly plays easier and must be less expensive to maintain but not the best of the best it once was in the private club era.
Nothing wrong with that Charlie Gibson has the course he wants.

After two days of rain course was in expected condition. The weather broke Sunday morning and we got a tee time from golfnow.com and went for it. Greens in good condition and putted fast. Pro shop staff very good and new carts since the last time we played big improvement. A challenging course and good test of golf. Thunder Valley are new owners and have put in some needed capital. Good job.

Greens putting well and in good condition. Rest of course average. Carts are newer Yamahas. Former private country club that is now public and what you would expect for an older built area golf course. Nothing fancy just golf.

Turkey Creek is in fantastic shape. Well manicured fairways and greens as good as they get. Greens putting as well private clubs in the area. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

Right now Turkey Creek is in top condition and should be on any player's list wishing to play a top notch venue.

Great course and location. Previously closed to public play they have made the business decision to allow limited access. Has a private club feel and conditons have been kept up well in the challenging economy. If I was to join another club this would be it. Never boring always a challenge.

One of the best designs around. The lack of expeditures for maintenance for awhile has started to show up and it's not pretty. Not enough watering. Greens recently sanded and vericut but haven't been punched deep for three years!? Fairways are getting spotty too. A usual tournament ready play it down course has slipped a bit this summer.
