Still worth the drive
Had another nice round driving up from Naples. Great value. A few greens need some help but the course is in decent shape. A lovely layout without housing and many interesting holes. Will play again soon.
Worth the drive
About an hour’s easy drive from Naples. Nice layout. Very few houses on the course. Some elevated greens. Conditions were quite serviceable. Tee times more available than around Naples in high season and at much less $. Have fun.

A little far from Naples but worth the drive. Greens are quite undulating and in great shape. A nice layout. A few short holes including #1 and #18.
South/East at Spanish Wells Country Club
Played On 04/13/2017Much better than expected.
After months of mediocre reviews, I was pleased to see some very positive reviews so I gave it a try. Played twice within a week. Firth theEast/North, then South/East. Conditions were very good especially the greens both times. The courses are fairly challenging owing to abundance of water on all sides and not much rough. Straight is better than long. I like the North course best, then East, then South. The sixth hole, East Course is a diabolical par five. It is a straight sliver of a fairway with water all the way, left and right.Next time I may hit an iron off the tee. Enjoy.

Tees, fairways, and especially the greens were in fine condition. Good pace of play.
Esplanade Golf and Country Club of Naples
Played On 01/26/2015Great course, housing is under construction
Very well laid out and immaculately maintained course. Greens are large and undulating. Landscaping is superb. If you avoid the fairway bunkers, you will have a decent chance at par or better. No facilities on the back nine. Lots of earth moving and construction going on. Nevertheless, a great value. Yardage markers on sprinkler heads are sparse and GPS doesn't reach this course (Golf Buddy couldn't locate a signal) which slowed play a lot. Could use 100 and 150 yard stakes near the fairways which is an easy and inexpensive fix. Keep track of where you are to keep play moving along. Enjoy!
Hibiscus Golf Club
Played On 05/03/2014Nice greens but scruffy tees and fairways
Much improved over the past 5 years. Greens were in top notch condition. Fairways and tees could use some attention. Well landscaped. Plays shorter than yardage on card. Par 5's are short. Could use a starter and extra help with the bags. Both were MIA for our round. Clubhouse and restaurant nicely redone. Had dinner which was delicious and a great value. . I will return.
Well conditioned and challenging
Course was in tremendous condition for early May. I believe this excellent course plays more difficult than its rating/slope. Many raised undulating greens with collection areas. Lots of water carries off the tees. No rough or bunkers. The sand cart paths are "in play" and are not considered hazards. Beautiful surroundings, no condo views, a nice natural setting. If the wind picks up, bring some extra balls.
Arrowhead Golf Course
Played On 04/27/2014Greens recently punched.
Not too bad for end of season play and with low green fees. Second green has a very large turf graft in the center. All other conditions were good enough for an enjoyable round. Very close to Route 75 for easy access. Greens recently plugged with small tines and no sand then rolled.
Eagle Lakes Golf Club
Played On 11/25/2013A moderately attractive layout in good condition with great value.
We play here several times a year. It is relatively flat with water and bunkers coming into play off the tee on a fair number of holes. Very basic GPS in the carts. Lots of wildlife. Very good value for the money. Have always found the condition to be very good.
