I play this course regularly with golfing partners who are residents. Rye is growing very well. Green speed is getting close to “normal” a few weeks after overseed. Bunkers could use more sand and grass on tee boxes is taller than I would prefer. Several risk-reward holes make this course a lot of fun!

Course was in excellent playing condition considering overseeding must have just been completed. Green speed was ideal and they rolled true. Most courses I’ve played the last couple of weeks had shaggy greens relative to recent overseed. I just didn’t think the sand in the bunkers were consistent. Very reasonable greens fee for this time of the year.

I’ve played this course numerous times. It’s never disappointed me.

Booked on TeeOff for a great price. Have played this course in the past when greens were in much better condition. Speed is challenging here, even if the greens aren’t bumpy, since the course is surrounded by mountains. Fairways were in excellent shape. Had a nice conversation with a young gentleman at the bag drop after the round.

It was my 4th time playing this course. I’ve been impressed with the course condition and the staff’s attentiveness and friendliness every time.
Practice putting. Pin placement today was not as difficult as the last time I played this course, but 3 putts were still not uncommon.
I love that this course is more traditional in design for an AZ course, high rough, trees, etc.

Was disappointed with the benign layout given that it’s a Weiskopf design. Overall course condition was below par. Tee boxes were hard, not level and par 3 tee boxes had numerous unfilled divots making it difficult to find a spot to tee and to get traction. Fairways had lots of bald spots. Bunkers had small rocks and didn’t look like they’ve been raked for days, if not weeks; therefore, holes with greenside bunkers had rocks on the putting surface. Greens were ok—most broke more than my read but speed was unpredictable. Encouraging to see a fun/lively atmosphere at the turn. Staff was great! Would still recommend this course to a friend because I’m not a golf snob. Still a good venue to get out and enjoy a beautiful AZ afternoon in Feb. and a good alternative in lieu of courses that have significantly raised green fees during this Phoenix Open week.

Fantastic thinking course! Tree lined fairways and thick rough around the greens unlike the typical desert course. Greens are sloped and fast and roll true. Course not too penal—grass goes all the way to homeowners’ backyards—no desert rocks but you may have a tree or 2 to contend with if you miss the fairway. Gorgeous #7 par 3 over water. Bunkers have more than sufficient sand. Great course to play for a reasonable price.

Enjoyed the round with 2 ladies on this forgiving course. Green speed was ideal and greens rolled true. Good course for a relaxing, leisurely round; not for a player who seeks punishment.

Course was in good shape considering they just opened a couple of weeks ago after overseeding. Greens were still a bit slow but certainly not bumpy. A few target golf holes which demand accuracy. A thinking course as a few fairways get tight at my length off the white tees. Staff were extremely friendly. Only drawback was 19th hole has been reportedly closed for a while due to covid.

In my opinion, this is the best public course in AZ, and I’ve played all courses rated higher than golf digest. It was in impeccable shape and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The greens rolled so true, one can’t blame a missed putt on the green’s condition, but you can certainly make long putts if you read your putt correctly and hit your line. Highly recommend this course.

Have been playing this course frequently. Always a great experience. My guest, who’s from Paradise Valley and normally plays the expensive courses in Scottsdale, enjoyed the course, especially the speed of the greens. He said he will come out again and bring his wife. He thinks his wife will enjoy the relaxing vibe that Pueblo’s residents emanate.

Have played this course numerous times. Greens are my favorite among the courses I’ve played in the West Valley. Hit one of those skinny palms solid from at least 100 yds (my playing partner did), and it’d be like a hole in one.

I’ve played this course numerous times. Unfortunately, it’s dropping its position in my list of go to courses. The greens have been very slow and tee boxes have had tall grass the last few times I’ve played here. It’s too bad; I like the vibe of the trailer park community. I’m sure the nice trailer home next to the #18 tee box w a KC flag hanging on the fence had a great Super Bowl Sunday

First time playing this course. You’re better off missing short of the green than on the sides. Most greens are elevated; hence, the ball rolls down to collection area if you miss left or right. The greens were slow but the course can manipulate the speed very easily. In general, nice course. I should know how to play it better next time which should be sooner than later.

Have played this course a few times. Fairways were much better today—could still use denser grass but soft enough today to get underneath the ball. Greens were fast and true. Don’t miss the 19th which has excellent food and friendly staff.

Course was in good shape, as always. Fairways cut at an ideal height and greens were fast but rolled true.
Not an easy course even at 6,300 yds. Careful on #9; lots of spin on the right portion of the green will cause the ball to roll back off the front resulting in an awkward uphill lie.
Make sure to bring your A game.
Staff has always been great but 19th hole has been closed for a while due to Covid.

It’s unfortunate that this course has not been maintained. It was bad when I last played it earlier in the year but since my group booked a round here for 11/13, I thought I’d give it another shot. I was hoping it had improved from a recent over seeding but that wasn’t the case.
This course is apparently owned by the same company that owns Corte Bella, and there’s definitely a disparity between how the 2 courses are maintained.

Played this course once years ago. I don’t remember it being as nice as when I played it today. Played as a single and got paired with a good group. We were on top of the group in front of us but still a respectable 3.75-hr round. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Staff is superb. Stay out of the waste bunkers!

Fairways and greens were in good shape, albeit the greens were a bit slow. It’s probably because of moisture from the rain we’ve had the past couple of days, as it looked like the greens were freshly cut at the right height. Always a pleasure to play this course and chat with the friendly starter.

Have played this course a few times. Today, the fairways were a bit hard and some bald spots on the greens (maybe being too nit picky as it’s winter). Have always enjoyed this course. I seem to absorb the relaxing lifestyle of the owners of the gorgeous trailer homes every time I play it. Highly recommended.
