The course is in great shape. The greens look great, could be perfect if people fix divots, but overall very good. The staff is great. David, the pro, is very welcoming and knowledgeable. It was a great day. Thanks!

I reviewed this course yesterday. I played after the rain stopped today and the greens are perfect- true as can be. Please fix your divots and keep them rolling true.

The renovations were well worth the wait. The greens were lightening quick today before the rain. Next weekend they will be pristine after all of the rain this week. It’s one of the better values for the money in metro Atlanta.

This was my favorite course I’ve played so far in South Florida. The practice area was pretty good. The chipping area was great. I played from the back tees and shot a 78 as a 2 handicap. The three of the par 3’a are a bit long (235, 240, 260 and 166) but otherwise the course is a fair challenge. The tee boxes were well maintained and the greens roll true. The wild life on the course was a bonus for my wife. Also, you couldn’t ask for a nicer more attentive staff. I am from Atlanta and I will be back to play Biltmore soon. Thanks for the great experience.

The course could not be in better shape. The greens are firm and fast. They’ve done a great job with all of the rain. We got out at 7:30 and finished by 11. Great day of golf.

This is the longest course I have ever played at 7,550. The level of commitment to maintenance, from tee to green is outstanding. It’s a country club quality that is open to the public and any golfer looking to test their game ought to play Echelon. Also, the staff is friendly and attentive and the professionals are great. .

I was hesitant to play this course because some of the other Nicklaus courses I’ve played haven’t been my favorite, but boy was I wrong. This place is a gem. $99 is a fair rate for the quality of the course itself. The greens were immaculate- with the exception of the first par 3, but that’s to be expected during such a wet couple of months on a hole under 160 from the tips.

I must say, weighing the value of other courses in the Suwanee, John’s Creek area, I think that this is the best value for the money. If You think that $99 is on the pricier side for a round, I would urge you to consider making an exception. You will not be disappointed.

Let me start by saying that if you haven’t played here, it’s totally worth the money. I am getting married and I was planning a bachelor party up at Lake Lanier and I wanted to have a 12 man 3 day tournament at the course- I think it’s that great. Beautiful layout, well maintained and incredible scenery. The food, which is included in the price of your tee time, is pretty good.
Since the course is such a gem, you can count on waiting to hit shots on the weekend, which is an issue everywhere. My problem is that on a packed day, we were sent as a twosome, which is tough because the other two we were paired with did not show up. Then we were stuck behind 4 guys, who played from the back tees and took forever on every shot after searching for every ball they hit. There are 6 guys greeting people at the door and 1 ranger that didn’t say anything. There was a hole and a half free in front of us. So we went into the shop and explained. There were 4 people listening and a manager, I believe he was a Scottish gentleman, said not to worry that he would handle it on golf now. My fiancé called and she was informed that it is against legacy’s policy.
We were lied to. Simple as that. I’ll be back to play, but it was a pathetic display of leadership and respect. Do better for your beautiful course.

My wife booked a round for me here and I was pretty excited. When I went to pay for the round, the guy behind the counter, maybe Kevin said it would be $90 for the round and the range balls. I wasn’t expecting that price and I said oh wow that’s steep- having not known the price, and the guy, whoever works on Sunday morning, sarcastically said “Oh, you must not have seen the price when you booked it”. Unnecessary. I didn’t mean any disrespect. I’ve had issues elsewhere, but I still play at those courses.

Other than the clown behind the desk, the course was fantastic. But the vibe tells me, for $90 you can find better options. Join Woodmont or find another course that’s happy to have “public players” money.

This is a beautiful course. If you can play you should. Right now there are some issues in the greens and I was a little disappointed that they did not adjust the price. Conditions, as they are, are not worth $90. Having said that, when this place is in its usual condition it is a must play golf course with an incredible staff.

My girlfriend and I played a round there and had a great time. She is very new to the game so the executive layout was perfect. Lots of 3’s and a few 4’s- driveable if you can hit 270-300. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to practice their short game and lower their average on par 3’s. The greens are a bit furry, but for the price, it is a steal.

The new design is the best they could do with the land, but for $50+ for 9 holes I’ll drive out of Atlanta. If it’s your first time out and you don’t have a regular in your group good luck navigating the course. The tee boxes are barely recognizable and there are two separate 9’s for 9 greens. If my buddy and I weren’t playing with a regular I would have walked off. I understand that they are a new course, but they need to get organized or charge significantly less money.

The greens are clearly this short course's primary defense, but the pin placements were absolute nonsense. It seems as though the person placing the pins doesn't mean play so they were placed on the sides of hills, running down spines, but the most frustrating thing was landing my ball next to the flag and having to fix several ball marks in the three feet between my ball and the hole. Is hot a 74 and I wish I hadn't played. For $50 you will find better values all over the island.
