Tee'd off in the morning on a Saturday and made the turn having not seen a bev-cart. Thought that was strange and so by 13 we called in to see if there was a bev-cart on the course which wasn't clear, but they said they'd send someone. We finished 18 and never once saw the bev-cart. Okay, cool, mistakes happen. I go into the pro shop to let the staff know that they probably have guests on the course wondering where the bev-cart is and they explain to me that the bev-cart isn't their department and that if I want to complain I can go speak with food and beverage. I thought this a bit strange considering I've worked at 4 different golf courses in my lifetime including Grey Rock and the last time I checked a guest issue was everyone's concern. Regardless, when I asked the staff member if he simply did not care, as it sure seemed that way, his boss jumped in to tell me that he doesn't need customers in the pro-shop mouthing off to him. I'm at a total loss at this point. If I spoke this way to my customers, ever, I wouldn't have any customers much less a job. Unfortunately, it seems that since the city has taken over ownership of this course the level of service that once existed has simply gone down hill. Will not be going back to this course.
