Calverley Golf Club
Played On 08/22/2017Oh dear
It was a cheap tee time an the course lived up to the cheap green fee, the tee boxes looked like they hadn't been looked after for weeks, the fairways looked like a playing field an the greens had been scored but not dressed, there is some good looking holes but it just gets let down with the state of the tee boxes, it's a shame as I played here about 4 years ago an really thought it was a good course,
Oulton Hall Golf & Country Club - Calvelry Course
Played On 06/15/2017Well,
I booked my tee time, so on arrival I was informed that I shouldn't of been able to book a tee time as there was a competition on, but as there was just me on my own then I could go out and do the back nine first if no one was coming down the 9th hole, was nearly hit on the 3rd green by a tee shot from the 18th, the guy in the pro shop was a bit off, but at least the course was good an I was let through a few times but it was a long 18 holes

Played her on my own as it's just near my home, the course was in tip top condition, the fairways were cut nice an short! With the greens being really quick an true. Tagged along with a few members for the back 9, an there where a cracking bunch of lads. Made the visit even batter! Would definitely recommend it to others
South Leeds Golf Club
Played On 04/06/2017enjoyable 18 holes
I have played here a few times now, when we visited the last 2 holes where closed due to wet weather, so we could play the 1st and 2nd again. The course has some really good holes with some quality views over Leeds, the only let down was the greens seem really slow, the 11th hole is a good hole with a massive drop to tee off over, then the 15th you play through the trees across the road is a good hole too. always worth a visit, an you get what you pay for.
Grange Park Golf Club
Played On 03/05/2017One wet round
I think it was the wrong time of year to play this course, I rang ahead of are tee time just to make sure the course was open and was told it was a lovely title wet after the rain the night before, wow that was an understatement, it was like a swamp in places, we lost balls in the fairway as it was that wet, some parts of the course had look like kids had done donuts on it , an the winter tees, oh dear, hopefully the course is better in the summer when it's dry as there seems to be no drainage. Not a place I'd visit when it's been raining.
