We've played Mystic Dunes 6-8 times over the past 8-10 years, so we've seen it in its pristeen conditions, and we've watched deteriorate thru the past few years with all the construction going on.
We last played the course back in July, and after that round, we told ourselves we wouldn't being going back,,, at least for a long time.

Well, I had thought I had a GolfNow deal to use up, so we booked a tee time on Sunday 9/2/18.
And though the rain was not kind to us that day, we were pleasantly surprised that the course conditions are returning to how they've been in the past. All the tees, fairways, and greens had nice full grass. There's parts of the rough that were spotty and needed some ground repair, but that's par for the courses around here this time of the year with all the rain.

Defintely glad to see this fun layout coming back into playable conditions again!

First of all, I can't complain about the price to play - I think we payed $14, maybe $20 max.
BUT, had the course been better maintained & manicured, it could easily be a $45 course!
The design and layout of the course is great!
The weeds all over the fairways & the extreme rough - not so much!

My question would be,,, is the low rate you're giving out to play the course bringing in more golfers?
It didn't seem so as there weren't many golfers out on the course.

If this is a private course like I understand it to be, as a member, I would be astonished at the conditions!

I'll go back and play the course again once I hear the course conditions improve.

This is a 1st class course!
Being semi-private, you'd still think you're playing an exclusive private course!

Tee boxes, fairways, & greens are all maintained to a private course quality.

Clubhouse & restaurant/bar facilities are great!
