We always enjoy playing at the 49er-the course is attractive and not overly difficult, and the staff is friendly and efficient.

While the condition of the fairways was less than perfect, the greens were in excellent condition,and the staff was unusually friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was excellent,too.

We enjoyed playing here…everything was great, starting with the friendly and efficient staff who greeted us upon arrival. Challenging and interesting course,in great condition. Pace of play was excellent. It is expensive, but a memorable golf experience.

We always enjoy playing Chevy Chase. Course conditions are consistently good, and it’s an interesting course with varied holes.Pace of play was excellent-our foursome finished our round in just over four hours.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful.course layout was nice, and in great shape. Only difficulty was that on the back nine it seemed that two foursomes suddenly were ahead of us, slowing play. Greens were excellent, although challenging.

We played this course while visiting the area. It’s a classic older course where the main challenge is the large undulating (or just sloping) greens. We were paired with two “regulars” who play the course frequently and gave us a few tips re: best aiming points and overall course layout. The course was in great shape and the pace of play was very good. We had lunch on the outside terrace at the restaurant and found it great as well. Definitely worth a return trip!

The course was in fairly good shape except for a few holes where the fairway surface was so hard that balls hit across the water hazards would roll back in. Narrow fairways because the houses were so close. Staff was very friendly and driving range was fine. Just not a standout as a place to play.

We ‘be played here before, and always keep coming back. The course is so beautiful, the staff so professional, and the other amenities are great, too.

The course was in great shape-good to have nice weather after all the recent rain. The staff was friendly and helpful, the greens fairly fast but not unreasonable. We did wait a bit for the foursome in front of us. Everyone in our group enjoyed the course and would definitely recommend it.
