Solid course layout, course is in terrible condition but I played in February. No frills pro shop, no range. Small practice green available.
Course is easy to navigate, tee boxes are close to greens on the previous hole. I played with a group of great guys who regularly play at Dyker beach and say how the course is completely different in the summer due to the trees blooming, higher grass etc. I also understand the pace of play during the season is slow at best, it is one of the most played courses in the country. I will try to play there at some point this season.

The course is great, there are a handful of challenging holes. I teed off at 10am. I had a quick 3.5 hour round but keep in mind it was a colder day and the course was quiet. The course is located in a retirement community so I could see many slow rounds.
There is a range and it is in decent shape and you are hitting off grass.

I enjoy playing golf at the Mattawang course.
The layout is interesting, several holes require a precision shot and perfect club selection.
2 par 3's push 200 yards. 2 dog legs of note.
The golf carts are in good shape. No gps.
The facility has a range, mat surface.
$7 buckets
The putting green is spacious with room to chip.
The Greens and fairways are in good shape. The tee boxes can use some attention as they are not level. The carts paths are a bit rough.
The staff are friendly.
During the week it is a no brainer
On the weekend, play before 8 am
After 8am the waits get lengthy

At times pace of play can be an issue however yesterday we went as fast as we liked. Unfortunately it was 98 degrees real feel over 105 so we couldnt move too quick.
Course layout is awesome, fully equipped with a range and bar.
A few gripes
Not enough water coolers in the ridge and links course
2nd the members of the course are always nasty.

Great Course, Staff was extremely Friendly. The Premier Course Newport bay had been Aerated last week, offered us that course at the same rate because the other 18 (seaside) was jammed. Greens were in great shape especially considering that they were aerated a week before.
If I had to be critical there about 4 holes where the mosquitos and horse flies were unbearable. I recommend bug spray.

Colts Neck is Fantastic. The Layout is Challenging, not overly long from the whites. Several Interesting holes. Course was played on a cold windy day, fantastic hot deal from golf now which included a bucket of balls and cart.
Looking forward to playing the course in the spring.
Well Stocked Pro Shop, beautiful bar with complimentary coffee....just what was needed on a cold day.

Princeton has a lot to offer, course is well laid out with several interesting holes. Course is not very long, many birdy opportunities, greens are in great condition and quite a challenge on at least 5 holes. I will definitely play there again.

Great Starter, good conversation got me on early.
Greens are in great shape. Fairways need quite a bit of work.
Sand Traps are dirt with weeds.....at least there were no rocks.
I was expecting so much more. Will not play there again...not terrible for $55 on a Sunday but I believe there are better options in the area.

Great Course, Slow pace of play due to the 3 gents I played with. Fairways and Greens were in Excellent shape, tee boxes need work. Very Enjoyable experience, Cordial Staff.

Great time at Bunker Hill, unassuming golf course. Nice Course for players of all levels. Short course on par 4's and 5's in 2, greens are extremely challenging. many 3 putts.
Fairway and Greens are in wonderful shape right now.
Great price $40 with cart, snack bar was very reasonable.
2 criticisms, Some sand traps need work and there are 2 water coolers on the course and one was empty...15 if I recall correctly. On a 92 degree day, I needed the water.
Highly recommended.
