No mention of sanded greens, complete with bare spots and tire tracks included. Slow play, saw the ranger on #16 after waiting each hole.Have been golfing here 30+ years, not sure I'll ever come back. Poor value for the conditions.

Overall, greens were very wooly and putting was not 'true' and very inconsistent. Several greens had fairly severe damage, had to play around it.
The VISTA course was closed, so value for the round played was reduced as we had to play the short Lakes course. You don't know this until you get there and you've paid GolfNow, so no refunds from Glenlakes.
Clubhouse staff is rather bland and unfriendly. Steve the starter was good.
I've played here for decades, this is the worst I've seen the course.

If it wasn't for the drive for me, would play more often

Had 7:06 tee time. I was a single. Starter, instead of putting me with first twosome (MEMBERS) or twosome behind me (MEMBERS), put me as a single between them. I'm a fast player, so you know how that's going to work.
THEN, on #9, I hit my approach shot to the green (GIR), and when I drove up the GREENSIDE SPRINKLERS TURNED ON. So, I'm stuck with my ball on the green, 5 minutes of sprinkler. Not fun. I deserted my ball and went on to #10. The twosome in front of me was not teeing off. The starter said they would need to wait 10 minutes as they were spraying greens with chemicals, then watering. NOT RIGHT. I confronted the starter about this, he said it is what it is.
I asked the twosome ahead of me if I could play through as a single, they said yes, thank you.
So, I got stuck waiting on spraying/sprinklers ON EVERY HOLE. VERY POOR. Do the chemicals in the evening or at daybreak, NOT PRIME TIME DURING TEE TIMES. I WILL NEVER RETURN.

I've played the courses for over 30 years
The changed the hole numbering on the nines but noone told me.
I was a single. The starter told me i'm next on the tee.
I went automatically to #1 (old #1) and waited for my paired partner. Noone showed after 5 min, so I played by myself.
When I made the turn, there were the regular members all over #10 (now #1). I asked the starter when they changed the nines and why noone came to get me. No answer.
I quit and am NEVER coing back

Have played this course as a 'tune up' to playing the full 18 hole courses in the Gulf Shores area. New carts, improved cartpaths, better greens and fairways... improvements are much noticed! Keep it up!!

I play here all the time we are staying at our property in Baldwin CTY.

Course was wet, cut grass was everywhere. Greens were uneven.

Gave this a play..haven't played it in at least 10 years...now I remember why I have not been back.
Greens are damaged and they are overgrowing them (= unmowec)...like putting on a fringe for 18 holes. Otherwise, a nice playable layout.
Pace of play very slow (kids who have never played, parents with them with no idea of golf play etiquette, 5somes, twosomes that will not let you play through).
Not coming back.
