Great Greens, Views, and Approach shots

The course doesn't look like much when you pull up and the range and range balls are in very very rough shape. BUT the greens are in very very good condition. They are very fast and they move a ton. The course make you move the ball a good bit off the tee but it doesn't necessarily make you club down which is a huge plus. Some of the tee shots look pretty normal but the approach shot into most of the greens other than #10 are great with water and bunkers protecting many. The fairways are in pretty good condition. If you can move the ball with your driver then you can score pretty low out there. I really really liked the course setup, no two holes are the same. Some are tight tee shots and some are wide open. Tee it up from the back if you drive the ball 240+. #11 is a hybrid off the tee for most. There is tons of wildlife out there, i saw turtles, geese, ducks, and deer on #12. All the par 3s are really nice. The greens are the best I've seen around fayetteville and it isn't even close. The front 9 is very very nice, makes you shape shots and has TONS of scenery. If you hit the ball on the wrong part of the green a 2 put will be pretty difficult. All in all its one of the only courses around i would recommend to anyone and play again. I loved the round and every shot is needed. i used every single club. Love this place

Great Greens, Good Layout

I did Groupme and it was $25. Well worth 25. The fairways had plenty of crab grass but the greens are in good shape with plenty of movement in them. Course was in ok condition. The course layout is pretty good, plenty of interesting holes. Like most Fauetteville area courses you better hit the ball off the tee dead on. If you do, the course is there for the taking. There was a couple of slow groups of old men betting and slowing the pace. I guess groups of 5 and 6 are allowed there. The practice facility is A rating.

Good course, NOT as good as the reviews

I read great review after great review. For a course to get 4.5 stars out of 5 it better be amazing. It was a good course but no where near 4.5 stars. The practice facility is ok but does not transfer to the course at all. Tee boxes were good and greens were good and fast but tons of weeds in the fairway. It says on the scorecard that the course doesn't get old because no hole is the same. most of the holes are dead straight and short though. Pace of play was pretty bad. On the first tee, the course seems like its gonna be pretty good, the first hole is the best it gets. Study the course map because you will need to know not to hit driver on a couple par 4s i think 7 and 8. #9 is a great great hole. For $35 its worth it but thats it. If you can hit straight shots you can demolish this course. If you drive the ball well then play from the back tees otherwise the course is extremely short. If you can shape shots then the par 5s are reachable with 7-8 irons from the back. Crab grass is everywhere. I dunno if there are members at the course but if you're behind groups of 4 they won't even acknowledge you. You'll never pass. It was a windy day and the round was good though.

Good Course, In good shape

I paid for Golfnow and it was $20 which was great. The course was soggy which all reviews said it would be. The fairways were nice and greens were in good shape but pretty slow. The course was tight and seemed to be made for pretty short hitting golfers. I hit 3 iron on most par 5s and still reached in 2. Pace of play was very fast. Clubhouse is pretty poor and outdated. Head pro was ok. All in all the course was fun. I would play it again. If you can drive it more than 250 then play from the back tees otherwise you will get bored.

Worth The Money

Staff wasn't too friendly and the clubhouse is lacking. The course is pretty good, wide open and fun. A couple of the par 5s you'll need to hit 3 iron or very accurate hybrid from the tee and then you'll be set up with a 200 or less shot into the green. Fairways were ok and greens were in good shape. I paid $17 and it was worth it. The back 9 is interesting and you'll use most of your clubs. If you drive the ball 250 plus then play from the back tees.
