There were lots of spots without grass on the fairways.

The course condition was really bad. Brown spots were everywhere on the fairways. Not to mention about the rough. It was really terrible. Unless you get a super good deal don't play there.

Played on a cloudy day with drizzle. The course was wet but not soaked. They didn't allow power cart on the course nor give us any compensation like rain check for the power cart. That was no good because power cart was included in our deal.
The course is a compact course with many holes pararell to each other.

There was lots of seagull feather on the course which made golfers difficult to find their balls.

It was a good deal. However, the grass on the course was not cut for a while. The grass on rough was so thick and long that we could hardly find or hit our balls.

I played at Sleepy Hollow last year and enjoyed the game very much. The course was nice and in good condition. Yesterday I was excited to go back again but was very disappointed. The fairways were still okay but all the greens were almost bare and brown. Although it has been very dry this summer, it shouldn't be so bad. Perhaps there are some other problems with their greens.

I was surprised to find quite a lot of crab grass on the course !

The pace was slow. There was a foursome ahead of us. Then a twosome followed by us(twosome). The foursome was two and a half holes behind but did not let group behind to play through. The marshal saw it but did not do anything. I find that the pace at bloomington Down is always slow. Perhaps it is because there are lots of beginners playing there.

It's beginning of the season. The fairways are okay but the greens are really bad.

There were too many leaves on the course. The staff at some courses like Silver Lakes and Glen Cedars would try their effort to blow the leaves away from the greens and fairways but not at this course.

The condition of this golf course was terrible. Dandelion was everywhere and grass on the rough was long. You could hardly find your ball if it landed on the rough. There was no sand but clay in the bunkers. I will never play on this course again.
