Rathsallagh Golf Club
Played On 10/22/2022A Walk in the Woods
We really enjoyed the round at Rathsallagh. The course has an old world feel, with large mature deciduous trees everywhere. The course is set around the trees and so there are lots of turns to shake your drives around. This makes for an interesting round, especially whilst surrounded by the autumn leaves. There's been a lot of rain recently so I don't think mud was avoidable at any course. Will definitely play again, although the hour long drive won't be missed. Friendly staff too.

I really like this course. Kept in good nick even in the dead of winter.
Only nine holes open, but respect for doing what they could to keep the course open. Friendly in the pro shop and at the car.
Looking forward to coming back in warmer weather.

Golf course or building site? Difficult to tell. Shouldn't be open to public in current condition. We paid €50 each. Total waste of money. We stopped after the front nine. Not only poor business practice to try squeeze money out of a clearly unready course, but we were also robbed of a lovely sunny afternoon that we could have been on a real course. Will be asking for money back.

In great shape, especially for March. Would recommend to anyone that hasn't played it. Great sea views too.

Played On 01/05/2020Fantastic Conditions, Beautiful Course
The course was in super condition. Really good grass cover everywhere, excellent greens and fairways and no muddy patches, which are a problem in a lot of places in winter.
Really friendly staff, bar and food are top quality too.
Excellent value.
Druids Heath Golf Club at Druids Glen Golf Resort
Played On 01/01/2020Woeful condition
You can forgive some muckiness and disrepair in the winter months, but the general condition was terrible. Holes, random piles of mud, weeds, lopsided tee boxes were all very disappointing. Even compared to the cheaper options in the area such as Bray and Blainroe it isn't even close. Beautiful scenery and fine weather, had a grand day, but clearly a course where the management have stopped caring.
Powerscourt Golf Club - West Course
Played On 02/01/2020Great course
Played the west course again, seems to be easier to book on golfnow, course was in great condition and we enjoyed the round despite stormy weather.. Nice variety in the holes. Will definitely play again.
Thanks for the review, glad you enjoyed your visit! Look out for our new bank holiday open competitions coming up this year too!

Got lucky with a beautiful day, but it's been raining nonstop recently, so was very impressed with the excellent condition of the course. Long par 4s and very well kept greens in the middle of winter. Great course. I'll definitely be back.
Dear Guest,
Thank you for your visit and taking the time to write a review.
I was disappointed to read you felt that the course condition was lacking.
I note you played on January 1st this year. This was during/at the end of what was proven to be the worst run of wet weather in Irish history.
To say that Management have stopped caring is far off the mark. The Resort recently changed ownership to the Neville Hotel Group. A family run, Irish owned businesses.
It is the Neville family’s intention to further enhance our golf reputation by unveiling a significant 2021 investment plan lead by renowned Golf Course Architect, Mr. Peter McEvoy OBE.
We do hope to welcome you back again soon (when the weather improves) and possibly change your opinion about our Golf Course.
Yours sincerely,
Marcus Doyle
