As a flagship public golf course Galloping Hill is the complete package. From expansive practice facilities to a supplemental 9 hole learning course it has every golf amenity checked off. The main course's 18 holes are varied and challenging. From tight landing zones, severe elevation changes, water hazards and doglegs all challenges are represented. The course conditions are fair and well kept. That being said the price is in the premium public range and the course can get busy. Expect average pace at best and don't be surprised by long waits.

Organized and friendly golf staff upon arrival. Check in was simple and easy. Golf course plays long from the tips. The course is fairly straight forward with most features visable from the tee. Certain holes required layups over streams that cross the fairway. Greens while not fast were fairly smooth. Rough can be quite deep in spots.

Fairly straight forward layout. Pace of play was excellent. Overall good value for 18.

Great course. Challenging routing. Played 1 up from regular tee box. Tee shots are fairly simple but pin locations require accurate second shots. Long walk from hole to hole, with moderate elevation changes. Overall one of the best premium public venues in the area.

A great facility to play golf. the experience was simple and streamlined, quick check-in by friendly staff, linksy layout that was fun and forgiving, and fairways and greens that were well maintained. Well worth the trip from Orlando if your just looking to spend the day golfing on a smaller budget. I will say it is quite busy as it is a local favorite.

Well worth the short drive from the Orlando area, this course presents interesting challenges in the form of varied elevation changes, ample water hazards, and beautifully manicured greens.

Played here when visiting family for the holiday. Course layout is simple and short, mostly straight forward. Course wasn't busy on a Sunday afternoon. We were able to fly through in under 3.5 hours. The course was in good condition, well maintained. The greens were rolling smooth which is always nice.

Mattawang is one of those courses few people have heard about but they really should have. The course is in excellent condition, offers cheap prices, and has friendly staff to let you get on your way. The course it self, although not diverse in appearance, presents interesting challenge in the form of small greens. Fairways appear large and forgiving, but require more thought into what angles and yardages you want on your approach.

Played here on a rainy day, staff was really friendly and there was barely anyone around. The course plays short which gives you a lot of options off the tee. There are enough slopes around the course to get you into trouble if you leave it in the wrong spots. The greens were rolling great at a moderate speed.

Having been playing the same course many times a week, me and my buddies came out here for a different look. The course is surrounded by a neighborhood which offers a tight perspective off the tees. Some holes have interesting greens guarded by water which adds to the fun. The staff was friendly and the pacing was brisk. Overall a great value.
