I played this course several years ago and this time it didn’t disappoint.The starter and bar staff were very friendly and hospitable, tee boxes and greens were in great shape with most fairways showing a little thinning for the time of year. A minor concern would be pace of play with attention needed to spacing.

Overall still a good deal, It’s been a while (5yrs or so) since playing this course and have seen it in way better condition and place of play, there wasn’t a starter or ranger which equated to an almost 5hr. round.

Not the friendliest staff, tee boxes were ok at best, thick cut grass left on fairways, greens aerated, super slow and very bumpy.

In the past this course has struggled with consistency and quality, even though fairways and bunkers were in good shape, all 18 greens were overgrown with almost 2 inches of grass creating shaggy type surfaces which made putting impossible. Certainly disappointing and not worth the drive to discover poor playing conditions.

Good course for beginner, easy layout and decent conditions. Greens were slow but rolled true.

Here’s what you can expect……the staff is bland but not rude, tee boxes and fairways were good, greens were noticeably smaller than most area courses with a few brown spots but roll very true with reasonable speed, fair to challenging layout with a few dog-legs and surprising elevation for Fl., the coldest beer on tap with the best chili dog I’ve ever in 40 states.

It’s seems some work was done on the greens and tee boxes, nice job. The fairways needed some attention with quite a few patchy areas. Overall good experience. Thanks

Greens are slower than area courses but roll true, fairways and tee boxes in better shape and seems to be making progress. Still need to work on friendliness, none is rude but hospitality needs work.

Tee boxes are very inconsistent with slower greens that didn't roll true on most holes. Fairways are average at best with some pasture type growth, the staff isn’t rude but lack service qualities especially with the amount of options available. This could be a nice country club course if attention to detail on customer service and course conditions were a focus, I expected better!!

The best part of the course was an attentive and visible cart girl, pace of play and fairways were average but....barely playable tee boxes and very poor greens is not worth the price to play!! There’s noticeable work being done on several holes but this is far away from completion. Good luck!!

This would be your average public course with average layout and service, tee boxes are playable but needs attention, fairways are in good shape with very slow greens.The food is better than expected and supposedly there’s a cart girl on weekends.

The course conditions were not perfect but not bad for the time of year. Some tee boxes and fairways need attention, the bunkers were well placed even though they were wet because of recent rain but all is worth it because of consistent greens and an outstanding course layout. A plus to this is the friendly staff and cart girl, this is surely a must play in Jacksonville!
