Course is in fantastic shape. Anything under $55 is a great deal for this course
Maple Ridge Golf Club

Stopped to play this course on my way to PCB. Course is in overall good condition with the exception of a few tee boxes and greens. A few of the greens had some bare spots but nothing too troubling but they rolled very true and very fast. A few tee boxes needed some TLC but again nothing that was horrible or effected teeing it up. The layout of this course is very nice, some challenging holes and some easy holes. My only "complaint" would be is that there are no holes descriptions/pictures in the scorecard or in the tee markers which made it a guessing game on several holes as to what was in front of you from the tee box and even on several approach. I was basically playing the holes blind having not played before. I would recommend this course if you are in the area and I would play it again given the opportunity.
Lane Creek Golf Club
Played On 08/24/2015Very nice course for the money
Played this course based on previous reviews and I would agree with them. This is a very nice course, especially for the money. It is not a very long course, 6600 or so from the TIPS but don't let that fool you. There are some short par 4's and some longish par 4's but they really get you on the par 3's, all of them I think are 190 to 218 yards... I think there were only 2 par 5's as well. Greens were in GREAT shape and were rolling great even for being Bermuda, somewhat on the quick side but a word of warning if you will... they are on the small side and are very undulating, not many flat putts to be had. Course can also be tight on the fairways but not too punishing. The cart paths need some work but all in all I would play this course again and would recommend it to friends
The Georgia Club - Chancellors Red/Black Course
Played On 08/20/2015AWESOME track
REALLY nice golf course and layout. This place has 27 holes and we played red to black. Course was in fantastic shape and the pro shop and restaurant staff were very friendly. The only negative I have with the course was the greens... it is an ABSOLUTE shame that the folks who play this semi-private course don't seem to know how or flat don't even try to repair ball marks... the greens looked like a mine field of unrepaired and improperly repaired CRATERS.. if not for this they would have the best greens in 50 miles. Given that they still putted well and rolled true if your line avoided the pot marks. Fairways are in perfect shape. Even with the green issues I would definitely recommend playing this course especially if you nail a deal like we got on Golf Now for $34.. take the time to play this course it is well worth it
Thank you for playing The Georgia Club! We are sorry about the ball marks. Come back and see us soon!
Little Ocmulgee At Wallace Adams Course
Played On 07/21/2015Great course
This was my first time playing this course. It certainly not my last. What a beautiful track. Course was in perfect shape from tee to green. This is tale of 2 nines, front is fairly narrow and tree lined with the back being a little more open. Agree with a previous user comment in that the back nine as a certain East Lake kind of look and feel. Must say I was surprised with the speed of the greens as they were faster than I thought they would be being Bermuda, rolled very true and smooth. I would recommend that if you get a chance to play this little gem in the middle of nowhere you won't be disappointed.
Omni Amelia Island Resort - Ocean Links
Played On 06/30/2015Ocean/Oak Marsh review
We played a mixture of the 2 courses. Started on the Ocean course and we were not really impressed so at 8 we took a left and played 17 and 18 and then headed to the front 9 of the Oak Marsh course. Ocean course was OK, on 3 holes on the front actually have ocean views which was disappointing. Greens were in OK shape and were VERY slow. Course is very short so if you have any sort of distance off the tee I would not recommend this course. The Oak Marsh course from 9 was a little tougher then Ocean and the greens were in MUCH better shape but still a little slow for my liking but that is typical for Bermuda greens. very playable course which gives you more room off the tee to hit driver for the longer hitters. Make sure when you book a tee time to use this site or the costs skyrockets to $125. For the price I would highly recommend this place and would play it again just to see what the back 9 on Oak Marsh looks like.
