Serenoa Golf Club
Played On 05/08/2018Nice course some challenging holes
Wish they would provide water on the course every 3 holes.
Redgate Golf Course
Played On 08/14/2017Fairways in great shape but greens were aerated and sanded. Some bunkers had little or no sand. Rough was a little high, difficult finding ball.
The Palms Golf Club At Forest Lakes
Played On 03/07/2017Palms
Course was in good shape. Nice club house/bar. Some of the holes are positioned very close to each other. While approaching some holes you are in direct line with the the group ahead teeing off. Stay alert. Greens were good but fast with substantial break. Back nine shorter than front.
WestWinds Golf Club
Played On 05/12/2014Great Course
This was my first time playing this course. The condition of the course was very good considering the recent rain storm. The lay out of the course was challenging depending on which tee box you decide to use. Each hole was different some with considerable vertical change. Most fairways were narrow and tree/home lined. So accurate tee shots are a must. There are some blind shots but no major problems. Club house has good food and cold beer. Driving range was closed but looked good. Andrew at the pro shop was very friendy and helpful. I would play this course again and recommend for you to give it a try.
Glade Valley Golf Club
Played On 04/21/2014Very good course
Course was is in great shape. Greens were fast and rolled true but challenging. Would recommend to all but very low handicap players.
Carolina Shores Golf & Country Club
Played On 10/19/2013Good value
I found the course well maintained with the greens rolling true. The driving range and putting/chipping areas were very good. The large bucket of balls seemed to be a better buy. I liked that the course had holes that were challenging but not brutal. If you have a low handicap and only play high dollar courses then this may not be your cup of tea. It does provide a good course for high and mid level handicaps but it still can be demanding for anyone from the back tees. If I return to Myrtle Beach area I would like to to play it again.
The Valley at Eastport Golf Club
Played On 10/15/2013Great course
The staff was very cordial and made me feel I was a regular there. The club house was very orderly and had a professional appearance. I was disappointed there was no driving range but the practice putting greens were good and reflected the speed and feel of the greens on the course. The layout was challenging. I didn't get bored since each hole was a little different with either water, doglegs, or tight fairways. Greens were great and rolled true. The cart paths could use some major help but other than that this is a good course at a great price.
Clustered Spires Golf Course
Played On 10/17/2012Course is a good value
The course was a good value especially using the GolfNow website. The course is in great condition. Greens are smooth and are 9-11 for speed. Tee boxes and length of holes are good for all levels of golfer. Course does beat you up and most of the holes are friendly. Course is good for both high and lower
handicap players if played from the proper tee box. Course was in great shape and was fun to play.
jtluko,
Thx for the very nice review. We look forward to having you back to Serenoa soon. Appreciate the feedback on drinking water on the course. Although some can be easy to miss - there are 6 water locations available. Holes 3, 6, 9, 12, 15 & 18 have water stops. No doubt that the Florida Sun is potent - at almost all times of the year. When we host junior events we'll even have to restock on occasion to keep up. Important to stay hydrated while out there. Again - look forward to having you back at Serenoa when you are in town!
