PGA WEST Pete Dye Mountain Course

These were the poorest greens we had seen during our 6 game road trip. Courses also played were Eagle Falls, Indian Wells Celebrity / Player Course, Palms and Mission Hills Pete Dye. Should have much lower reduced green fees to bring back out of town customers instead of over priced ones.

Hi - I am following up on a recent comment about the Mountain Course at La Quinta Resort - specifically a comment about the greens. We use the customer reviews and feedback posted on GolfNow Advisor to help us in our effort to continuously strive for improving our facility and enhance our overall guest experience. Because of some frost days earlier in the month of February, we did have a few issues with some of our greens not being filled in 100% with the winter grass because we get less sun on the greens up against the east side of the Santa Rosa Mountains. However, the past few weeks we have had very warm temps and those greens are back to near 100% turf coverage and are rolling extremely well.
Every guest who plays our course is sent a survey to their email address, and the average score for our conditions and greens has been excellent. Everyone has their own standard of what "excellent" is, and we are sorry we did not meet yours. Thanks for taking the time to write, and we hope you will come back and see us again as we are constantly striving to improve!
