Capitol Hill Golf Club - Senator Course
Played On 11/03/2017Vote Yea for Senator
Beautiful day in Prattville, Alabama. We began our round about noontime.
Course in awesome shape! A ball in the rough is lost, no reason to search, so staying in fairway is crucial. Greens were incredibly fast, and rolled true. Not used to Bermuda grass so that posed some problems in rough around greens.
Have played Legislator, and that had way more trees and water. The Senator was way more open, though lots of bunkers. Sand in great shape so that made getting out easier.
Played White tees this time, may tee it forward to teal tees next time.
Will definitely play this course again. Voting yea for Senator!
Boulder Creek Golf Club - Coyote Run/Eldorado Valley
Played On 03/09/2017Fun fun fun
We booked a round through Sterling the morning we played. The course was fantastic. Great tees, fairways, and greens. We had a friend with handicap and they were very accommodating with cart.
Pace was good. Carts equipped with GPS and awesome info provided.
Weather was perfect, slight breeze. Drink cart was timely.
The pro shop staff were friendly and helpful.
We would definitely play here again!
Thanks Boulder Creek!
20 handicap, shot 91. Fun fun fun
Spring Valley Golf Course
Played On 10/02/2016Good Putting a must
This was our first visit to Spring Valley. It's about an hour drive and totally worth it. The pro shop was terrific! They gave us course guide and extra token for range balls. Met other golfers and they were helpful and friendly.
The course was straight forward. Spread out and plenty of signs to direct your way. Lots of trees! Some mild elevation changes but nothing severe.
The challenge was on the greens. The practice green was indicative of what we found on the course. Not a lot of flat surface. Reading break and speed was crucial because all the undulations.
We will definitely play here again.
Red Hawk Ridge
Played On 08/29/2014Fantastic vistas
This was our first time playing Red Hawk Ridge. Tee time was around 2:30 pm, it threatened rain, but we only got some wind gusts and a few sprinkles. The course was in excellent condition. Riding is a must because of all the hills. It seemed like a lot of the holes were downhill, which made for beautiful views! Panoramic views, we even saw deer in the scrub brush. I'm a 24 handicap female and the whites were good tees for me. Hope to play here again!
Koshkonong Mounds Country Club
Played On 07/27/2014Fun in Wisconsin
This course was in great shape from tee to green. A nice breeze coming in from the lake made it a pleasant day. It was good to have a cart because it has lots of hills,. The most challenging part was the changes in elevation, uphill and downhill lies, and it messes with my depth perception, not sure I hit the right club.
The staff we very friendly and helpful. Great restroom facilities. There was an outdoor snack building which had good food at reasonable price and fast, friendly service.
Pace of play was fantastic. Of course there were two of us.
Being on vacation and knowing zero about courses in WI, we turned to GolfNow and read reviews. We would play this course again!
Four Mile Ranch Golf Club
Played On 06/01/2014Four mile fun
Beautiful fairways and greens! The rough is serious trouble. Very open and a little windy at times. Have enjoyed this course each time we have played. Definitely worth the trip to Canon City!
