Arlington Ridge Golf Club
Played On 05/03/2020COVID 19 precautions
Course mgmt exercised caution against COVID 19 virus. Carts clean and sanitized. Check in lines used social distancing even including sanitized pens for signatures. Bathrooms clean and available for washing hands at turn. Would recommend this course.
Twin Birch Golf Club
Played On 09/25/2017Great value for the money
While this course obviously is not on par with the championship resort courses, I thought it was a great course for the money. Greens were in excellent shape however rather flat and uneventful. Fairways were beautifully lined with pine and birch trees. Forward tees were lady friendly but still offered some challenging holes. Clubhouse/restaurant was pretty sketchy but we weren't planning on eating there
Stonecrest Golf Club
Played On 03/16/2017Good course for the price
The front nine is not in the best condition but conditions improve on the back nine. This course offers some challenging par threes and several changes of elevation. There are numerous bunkers along the fairways and greens. Hole sixteen offers a beautiful view after your tee shot. We would play it again as there were enough holes that offer a challenge.
Huron Hills Golf Course
Played On 07/25/2016Mediocre Golf at best
The first seven holes are east of E. Huron River Drive and are very easy and, to be honest, pretty forgettable. The remainder of the course is on the west side of Huron Dr. These holes are markedly different as they are on hills with one hole running uphill and the next downhill among mature trees. Par fours are short with doglegs making them pretty easy pars, while par 3s are long and uphill making pars pretty difficult. Lots of distractions with ground crew and youth golf camps going on. All and all, not a great round of golf. Probably won't play again
