Course was in decent shape for time of year. The greens rolled true and fast. By far the best part of course. Tee boxes where starting to come in, fairways where a bit rough and the cart paths need work. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I good mix of holes; 2 of par 5. are reachable and it had two drivable par 4’s. Good mix is holes. If miss the green or on wrong side you better have a very strong short game as the greens have allot of undulations and most have glass fronts. Great value for the area.

Because of all the rain the course should have been closed or at least 50% off. There was not dry area on the fairway; literally walking in mud. To make matters worse all the greens (were told in club house 3 holes the greens were bad) were bad - bumpy, sandy, not rolled spotty. Course exactly spray painted the greens to make them appear nice from a distance. Charging $55 because you can get is absurd - $20 is more inline.

Fairways were so wet they should had the club closed. Green were unputtable so bumpy. They spray painted to make look great from afar.. The Pro said there was discount for bad greens from $59’to $55 absolute rip off.Pricing inflation due to pandemic.

I play every Saturday with group of guys in the morning! The greens are in excellent shape. However the fairways and tee box’s need to some help. The course needs better drainage alway wet and puddles everywhere. The other knock is golf carts are in bad shape; thankfully new ones are coming in March. The staff is fabulous always friendly and accommodating. In spring, fall and summer the place is top notch, $65 during the winter when fairways are dormant and no grass to speak of I find price very high $45 would be acceptable. Love the layout allot of risk reward.

The course has allot of risk reward holes. Playing the correct tees is critical as the course play allot longer than the yardage indicates. This mainly due to most green are elevated, course usually has wind in face on many wholes. The course has subtle elevation changes. Course tee time green is generally terrific the only two knocks is ball marks are frequently not fixed and after rain course does not drain well. Lastly the greens are very difficult read as they are mainly flat with which I find harder to read. Nevertheless there are plenty of birdies to be had, but missing the fairway can be very penal. Overall is great course and well managed.

I have played courses several times over the last month. Course is in tip/top shape some best tee-to-green conditions in the area. However, last week noticed there were more ball marks then usual. I think they forgot to move hole for awhile? The only complaint is and very big one was they charged me an extra $10 on top the $65 already being charged part of new policy to force people to join up and ride in same cart. This was first time this was put in place. I asked and was told part of new guidelines set by NC. I find this irresponsible and disgraceful, as the number of COVID-19 had a huge spike this past week in NC . Additionally I’m senior over 60 and felt this way over the top on price and policy. Shameful to take advantage of already booming industry during a pandemic when many have lost their jobs. Two thumbs down way down!!

I play this course 4/5 times a year. It is about to become a regular stop. The conditions were some of best of seen all year at any course. Especially the fairways like a velvet carpet. Many course before I have played the fairways were in rough condition maybe because of pandemic not sure. Stonebridge is great track good variety of holes, reachable par 5’s and some good risk and reward holes. All the par 3’s are birdie opportunities. Greens were fast and for most part smooth. I don’t why golfers can not replace ball marks it is a shame. The only knock morning rates are $65 plus tax and fees $70.

Played earlier morning, a bit wet from storm the night before. So it played long. Usually a great course to bump and run; not to today much to wet. Nevertheless the course tee-to-green was in the best shape I ever seen. Greens were true and fast. Great layout. Well managed. Friendly staff. I was running 10-minutes late and they held my spot albeit missed the first hole.

Let me start off that allot people give a course 5 stars, but realistically there are very few public courses that meet that requirement. There should be 10 star rating this course would be 8.
out of 10 The TPC Sawgrass would be your 10. This is a great layout many different holes. Greens are true and fast. This not by any stretch an easy course. Don’t be fooled by the first hole. It also plays much longer than the yardage; so pick the right tees. Fairways and tee box where is great shape compared.to other course in the area. The greens are very undulating and tough to read; you need to know how read the grain.
I think because of COVID-19 some courses put some fertilizer to stunt growth of the grass. With all the rain all the courses in the area should be plush but they are not. Springfield is plush at the moment. Great twilight rate. Priced well for the area and condition but weekends expect $60plus. In my opinion one of the best courses in the area at any price.

The course was in good shape as should be given the rain. The course was a bit benign cannot really remember any particular hole. Pace of play was good and cost was fair under $50 for morning tee-time.

The course was great condition tee to green. The greens were fast but you spin the ball. Played from the whites the some of par 3’s where long 180-190 yards there 3 on the back nine. The par 4’s where Long from the white some over 400yds. The par 5’s where all reachable if you could hit 250. Bring plenty of balls if don’t them straight, if you miss the fairway the ball is lost in the very thick vegetation. Played is 3 hours would highly recommend great value $40 on GolfNow morning Tee-Time.

Due heavy rains the days before the greens nor the fairways were cut. It played long and greens were very slow and grainy. Pace of play was average as course was booked solid.

This first time playing this course in 10years, mainly because you cannot book singles on GolfNow. Overall the course was in great shape, greens were immaculate; albeit a bit slow for my liking. The course itself was good shape tee-green. This is very tough course even from the whites it plays 6300 yards. Tough because most of greens are elevated and if have not played this course you be club short. Front and back are complete different. Front wide open fairways but not bump and run as bunkers front most greens. Back is tighter but you can bump and run. The par 3's are all tough only one is under 170 yds from the whites. Staff is great .

The best part of course are the greens and pace of play both were great. You cannot beat the price. The cart paths are extreme need of repair, but the rest of course is in good shape. There are some really breathtaking holes and few holes bad holes. The course is really in the middle of nowhere. Yet it is only 30 minutes from South Charlotte. The staff is really friendly and the clubhouse is old but fully stocked and some good bargains. Overall I would rate it 3.5 stars and worth the drive as you can play on saturday afternoon in 3 1/2 hours.

First, I play this course often in the afternoon the rates are great for this type of course, pace of play is always 4 hours or less. Range in good shape, Tee boxes where average, Fairways where pristine, Sand traps in good shape but sand was inconsistent, even in same trap. hard in one area fluffy in others. Greens were in decent shape as they had been recently aerated. Overall for the money, pace of play and condition you can not beat it. Rating 4 as I played Cobblestone Park two weeks before and Waterford Club and the greens rolled better. Cobblestone to me is the best course for the money or any price in the state hands down.
No real Clubhouse, but water is available on course.

Overall course was in good shape. The fairways were some of best I played all year. They were Green and plush, but you could still get some roll. Tee Box's where okay and greens rolled fast and true. About 8-10 rating. The staff was great from the kid who met me in parking lot to the pro, all they way to the starter and the cart girl was terrific. Only thing I wish they had sandwiches on the cart, not her fault. I Did not play well but still enjoyed the day. Nice track somewhat links style. Good test

This used to be my home course, but I have sinced moved. The course was good/great shape. The fairways were a bit shaggy and that might be due to the heavy rains the day before. Besides that the course was in tip top shape. My son and I played on Saturday afternoon at 4:30 and were able to get in 18. We had a great time.
Couple of suggestions: the Junior Rate or Kid policy is not very friendly 11 year old should be free as it promotes Golf not $40. It is $15 to walk but in the summer much too hot. Besides I'm riding. Secondly u cannot book a single on line so you cannot get the web discount. Even if there were a twosome or threesome it will not allow you. Losing money!! Other courses in area Edgewater, Coblestone Park allow to book singles and kids are free!!

This was one of best courses in Carolinas up until this year. Well maintained, great par 3's challenging, even a bit difficult at times. However the last two times I have played the greens had so many ball marks it was like putting through a mind field. This is supposed be high end course $69 and you expect good conditions. When I tell you these had to be the worse greens I have ever seen... Not a few ball marks hundreds - I asked the ranger and he said it was due to tournaments; I questioned him on that; it is retirement community and they must not want to bend over to repair marks. One hole I counted 400 Ball marks disgraceful will never go back until they do something about. You literally cannot putt FULL STOP!! The greens keeper should be ashamed!!

Take the course off your list. The Course is CLOSED, out of business, sold. No more ,closed down, out, shuttered, finishe, done, over and out. Was once a great layout, now condos such a shame. Try Springfield or Tega Cay, Fort Mill. All are nice need to fill in order for min words required. Much too long for a review I don't understand if is bad its bad. Not much else to say. Remove min characters this is a drag.... why the min? I cannot think more to write

Course was great shape; although the greans where too slow for my liking. Pace of play was 4.5 hours on weekend which is not bad. Shot makers course. If you are able to play for blues u can use your driver more often. Although there houses that line most fairways they are not close enough to notice. Greens are fairly flat which it makes tough to read the subtle breaks. Pricey on the weekend $73; if you don't have discount way too much money;
there are plenty for much less in the area. Overall nice course nothing great but close to south Charlotte..
