Played On 05/22/2020The course has been closed for a month because of the pandemic and it seems that gave the course time to heal.
Greens were the best that I've seen in a while because of the brutal heat but it seems that the month long pandemic break gave it a chance to heal.

Samantha, Abby, and Cruz were awesome. Samantha checked me in and was very welcoming and hospitable. Abby prepared the best breakfast burrito and the coffee was delicious as well as the bbq brisket sandwich for lunch and Cruz the marshal kept things moving on the course. I finished my round quickly.

Mosquitoes galore. Bring plenty of repellent. Keep it in the fairways and greens you will be alright. If you get in the rough, you will be swarmed.
Presidents at Bear Creek Golf World
Played On 8/1/2013Greens are in excellent shape. I played the Presidents Course which has only a few lateral water hazards and no sand bunkers. Everything is wide open
The Presidents is a nice, easy course to get around. Great for your confidence and ego. Everything is wide open and there are no sand bunkers and only lateral water hazards that can easily be avoided. Greens are wide and in good shape.
Falls Resort & Country Club, The

I immediately noticed the great service that the staff provides. As you drive up, the staff will take your bags and load them into the cart while you park.
I played my round on a Thursday afternoon so there was no cart person and the snack bar was not open. When I went into town to eat, I was told that the wait and restaurant staff had abruptly quit and left the course hanging.
The course was in very good shape and the greens were tough and fast. For the most part, the fairways are wide open but you still must keep it straight. The course doesn't cut you much slack if you are not straight or relatively straight because being that the course is part of a resort, it's built in the sticks and if you don't at least keep it in the immediate rough, then you're in the sticks, literally and figuratively. But that's what makes the course so scenic, especially when you're in the tee box and can see some of the other holes and the layout of the place. It's nice, real nice. Deer all over the place.
I would have enjoyed to stay and play but time didn't permit but the villas looked well equipped and rather modern from the views that I had. I definitely plan to play there again.
