I love playing the North course. Plenty of challenge from whatever tees fit your game. Course winds through homes with doglegs on most holes. It a very pleasant and easy walk once you make it across the street. For me, it's always worth the drive up from the east bay.

Course is in great condition. This is well worth the drive from the east bay.

I'll be back again! North is a fairly tough layout and it's in great shape at the moment. Carved through a neighborhood with mature trees, it's well worth the 40min drive from the east bay. It's easy to walk as it's mostly flat.

I'm done with this place. It's always slow! I've experienced 3 hr 9s on a Wednesday morning. Today was a 5 hr round waiting every single shot. They also will nickel and dime you for your tee time. Booked online through their website for a Thursday round. They charged me for a cart, even though I wanted to walk. I was told the walking rate was even more than the cart rate! How does that happen?!

I really didn't appreciate paying 80 bucks for a muni with saturated fairways and excruciating slow play. We had to leave after 11 holes. 4hrs into the round. (we made the turn in 3.2hrs.) Brutal. It's sad when you might miss an appt that started 6.5 hrs after the tee time. Thanks for taking my money, I will not be coming back.

Played here before the rains this weekend.The greens were in amazing shape. I had avoided these courses based on total yardage, but I was pleasantly surprised. West is very parkland style with lots of elevated tees. East is a few shots harder but more open off the tee overall. Great value and really enjoyable tracks for all skill levels.

Great Staff, carts are like driving your couch around, and a fun layout. I enjoyed this track but I feel like it's way overpriced for the quality/value. You can pay less than $100 on a weekend at 10 other courses in the area that are all just as nice.

I played Bayonet on Tuesday and loved it so much I cancelled my Thursday tee time at another course to play Blackhorse instead. Bayonet is pretty tight of the tee, with large undulating greens that roll nicely. Blackhorse has way less trees and is much more open off the tee, with the same style and level of greens. Doesn't matter when I play this course, it's always annoyingly slow. I've played it on weekdays and weekends and it's never been faster than 2.5hrs. per nine. I've also been charged 65 dollars to play after 3pm!! This time I grabbed a good deal on golfnow and went out at 3pm on a Sunday. 3hrs front nine and I was 2 hrs in with 4 holes to play on the back before I had enough and went in. I really love this course and you can't beat the grass range but the pace of play and the price have kept me from playing more often.

I love this layout. It has plenty of challenge and usually is in good shape. Like anywhere public in CA, the rounds can be pretty slow. 4-5.5hrs. But stopping to appreciate the great views from some of the elevated tees, makes the wait a little better. The range is a joke.

This is a fun course. It's pretty well maintained and has plenty of challenge for all types. The first few holes are kinda cookie cutter, but the rest of the layout makes up for it. I knocked down a star because it's usually a bit overpriced, no driving range to warm up, and the practice green is minimal. I only book here when I get a deal. I think they try to charge more simply because it's in Marin County and certainly not because the course or the facilities are worth it.

Booked a single last minute and arrived to aerated greens. They were appropriately apologetic at check in. That didn't bother me too much as the layout is really enjoyable. Plenty of challenge from blue tees with tight lines and holes that work both directions. Tricky greens with some challenging tucked pins make you choose wisely when to go for it. I would like to see a stricter dress code enforced. I'm no snob. Golf is my church.

With all the recent rain, this course is in great shape right now. Play up a tee and it plays like a resort course; play the tips and it'll give low handicappers plenty of challenge.

I play here several times a year. Course and staff are always top notch. Range is sad.

The work they've put in the last two seasons on the greens have really made a difference. It was a really foggy morning but we enjoyed it none the less.

The round was a little long, but it was a holiday weekend on a beautiful day. So no surprises there. The supers kept the pace moving the best they could. Greens were in great shape and rolled true.
