Course great but bar and restaurant closed for wedding.

First and foremost, the course is great.
Lots of wide open fairways that reward brave driving of the ball.
Some really nice holes with challenging greens that were lightening fast.
We have golfed in the area many times and are used to the odd 5hr round. That’s ok but when the group causing the 5hr round we’re having a party to themselves with ZERO golfing etiquette then they should be challenged by the course stewards.
No raking bunkers, falling drunk on many occasions and re-hitting poor shots (three hits of the same shot). Tarnished what was really enjoyable golf .

10:30 tee time on a very pleasant Sunday.
Always like playing Panther as it has a great variety of holes.
That said, this is the 2nd time I have played here where the pace of play can only be described as unacceptable. 4 hrs to play 14 holes. We had to quit as we had a flight to catch.
Is it qty of players, course set up? Not sure but did take the shine off a great trip.

Good greens but fairway grass in poor condition.
Looks like a lot of product being used to remedy the issue.
Abundance of wildlife a plus

Played Crooked Cat at OCN yesterday and experience and course was pretty much 1st class. Providence was ok but just not in same league I’m afraid.

It’s been about 10 years since I have played here and the course didn’t disappoint.
There was a bit of inconsistency on the greens but I’m being really picky. ( only because I lost at snakes)
Some lovely holes for golf and will definitely be on the list for next year !!
