Arrowhead State Park Golf Course
Played On 10/04/2017Hidden Gem in the heart of Oklahoma
The course was among the best I have visited. The tees, fairways and greens were all excellent, especially considering it is late in the season. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Their were several golfers on the course, but the pace of play was good. The course was pretty scenic given its location in the flatlands. Thanks to the staff for making this a great course to visit. Play here if you get a chance, you'll be glad you did.

The course was in great shape and had tee locations to challenge the low handicapper and be assessable to the high Handicapper.
Wasioto Winds at Pine Mountain State Park Golf Course
Played On 10/10/2016A beautiful links style course in the mountains
This course needs to be played more than once to really appreciate it. The fairways are new and the greens roll great. It is cart paths only for a few more months, but it is worth the bit of extra effort. Holes 5 and 15 require very precise shots into the green or you will card a big number. Plenty of challenges to be found, but many holes have a bailout if you know the course. A very fun course and really great staff make this course one of the best in Kentucky to go play.
General Burnside State Park
Played On 10/09/2016Fantastic Experience!!!
Very challenging layout, with several blind shots and immaculate fairways. The greens rolled true and fairly fast. Expect to lose some balls if you are not laser straight. Pace of play was perfect on a Sunday afternoon. This is a scenic and well kept course with a friendly staff. This was a wonderful course to play.
Pomme De Terre's Shadow Lake Golf Course

Fairways, greens and tee boxes were extremely well kept. This course is vastly better than most courses in its price range and is worth driving a bit out of the way to play. The fairways are pretty narrow, but the front nine has enough open area to score well if managed well. The back nine tightens up and may best be played with a lot of fairway woods off the tee as its not extremely long, but is quite challenging. Unless you are laser straight, you will lose a couple of balls. There are some interesting layouts and elevation changes. This is an all around great course to play.
