Snow/Frost delay. This after the rainy couple of days last week. Cart Path only, not a surprise and was not an issue. Pace of play was good even with cart path only, just glad we could get out given the weather the days leading up to Saturday.
Staff is always very friendly.

Quarry Ridge Golf Course

First time this season at Quarry, the course didn't disappoint. There was some type of outing there and we were the group following the last foursome........I wish our tee time was 30 minutes later..... The last 4some in the outing were , well, terrible.....we are not great golfers by any means, but they were brutal.
Anyway, I would just suggest that in the future leave a little bigger of a window of time between last group of an outing to first group of public tee times..

Course was in fairly good shape compared to when I played it many years ago. We played 18. We teed off at 12:40pm, tee time was reserved for 12:14. No big deal, as we had to wait for carts. We did not finish until 5:45 pm. Foursome in front were extremely slow, but not worth getting upset about, as we are fortunate to be able to play.
Hopefully as the NY and MA courses start to open up we will get back to a more normal pace of play.

Glad to see the signage and enforcement of the 1 person per cart rule at this time. I know there was some difficulty with this a couple of weeks ago with the out of state guests.

I realize it is still early on for golf season in CT. Course was in good shape for as early as it is, greens ran true. The only problem we had was that there was a group of 13-17 people in front of us walking. The 4-some in front of us barely kept pace with the threesome in front of them, who did not keep pace with the foursome in front of them. Additionally, while the 3 of us are not great golfers, the folks in front of us were terrible, adding to the delays. We tee'd off at 10:30am and did not putt out on 18 until 3:10 pm. Perhaps the Starter could have sent our group and the 4some behind us out on the back nine first.
Thank you for your comments in regards to the golf course. We apologize if you ran into some slow play. The good news is our rangers have just started back for the year. Please come back and see us again soon!
