It was cart path only the day we played because of a recent rain, but the course was in such nice shape you could understand why they wanted to keep it that way. The fairways were in great shape as were the greens.

The course is moderately challenging with most holes being fairly normal and a few very difficult ones thrown in a for good measure. It was a good mixture of both to me.

I liked it. Even a duffer like me was able to score an 87 on this at times challenging course.

A good value for the money when you include the shape of the course, the views and scenery, and the layout.

The facilities were nice. The staff friendly and accommodating the fairways and tee boxes were in pretty good shape. The greens not so much. The course was challenging and fun to navigate. Overall a good value for a beach course..

The course is a great value for the experience. The layout is nice. The views are good. The course conditions fair. Some of the greens need attention. As do some of the fairways near the greens. However for the price it is a very nice course.

The only complaint which I am sure they are aware of is many of the greens are in terrible shape. The rest of the course was nice. If they can get that worked out, they will have a nice course. We visited this course while on vacation at Saint Simons Island. This course is very nice and underated. It is an incredible value. All three of us played for what it would have cost for one to play on the Island. I was very impressed with the course conditions. The fairways were incredible. They were in as good a condition as just about any I have seen. The greens were also excellent. They were working on some of the Tee boxes, so they were a little less impressive. The course borders the marsh and there are many scenic holes. The pace of play was good. It was a great experience.

The greens needed a little work, but other than that the course was in pretty good shape. The pace of play was excellent and the staff friendly. For the money, it was an excellent value.

Took my son in laws out before they returned home from the holidays. The course was in as good a condition as you could expect for wet and winter. The staff was friendly and helpful. The course marshall offered friendly advice on shot selection for the wet (puddled) course. The course is fairly challenging with a lot or up and down tee to green holes and some narrow fairways. It was a great value for the money.

Some friends and I wanted to play several courses several days in a row and we played this course on Saturday. The course was in good shape and it was fairly open which is difficult to find in Hilton Head with all the neighborhood golf courses. The pace of play was excellent. We never felt rushed. The greens were in good shape. There is water on just about every hole which makes for a pleasant visual experience. It is a ways out from the Island, but the value for the quality of the course makes it a worthwhile drive. I would definitely recommend. Did I mention the value?

The pace of play was good though a little rushed. The quality of the course for the price makes this an excellent value for Hilton Head. This is a great course to consider for your play due to the condition, location and value.

I was looking for a course to play with my son in laws while on a vacation trip. The staff was very friendly. The course was moderately challenging which was great for play with people who only play golf 5 or 6 times a year. The course was in decent shape, but it was between seasons, so that may have been why. It was a good value and we had a blast. We were not rushed and were able to enjoy time together without having to pick up an extra or worry about a beginning golfer taking a few mulligans.
