Sun Mountain at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort
Played On 01/06/2024Terrible Marshall
Two groups in front of me kept wanting to play together, so they had 8 people tee of each hole. Told the Marshall to separate them, but they would not listen to me.
I asked them if I could play the back 9 on another course and they let me. Terrible pace of play on that one, too. Told the Marshall how inefficient the group was moving and Marshall would not listen.
Maybe grow a pair and do something instead of just doing nothing.
Golf Summerlin - Highland Falls Course
Played On 05/31/2023Slow and bumpy
Played here in January 2023 and they gave me a free warm up bucket. Now you have to pay for one. Greens were slow and in terrible condition. Ruined the whole experience for me. I know $22 muni courses in LA that have better greens than this garbage course. Used to be a great course and they ruined it.

Played On 09/20/2022Beautiful course, but pace of play is unacceptable.
Today reminded me why I never play this course. Took literally 5 hours and 45 minutes to finish a round here and it’s only a Tuesday. That’s just unacceptable. Marshall does nothing to enforce pace of play. Dudes behind us were mad at us for not playing fast enough even though we were constantly waiting for the group in front of us to clear. It’s a beautiful course, but the course just gives me bad vibes.

Played On 12/27/2018Nice little track.
My first time playing here. Overall, the greens and fairways were pretty well kept. Greens were rolling pretty fast, which is normal around this area. Some of these holes are very memorable, too. Hole #5 is a challenging dog leg right Par 5 that is 560 yards. If you don't fade the ball then you will be stuck in the other fairway. Saw at least 3 players hit the other fairway because it's not long. The #10 143 yard par 3 is gorgeous. The back of the green resides pine trees (I think) and the sun kept peaking thru the trees. Reminded me of the CBS footage you see of The Masters. Finishing hole #18 is a grip and rip type of hole. Only plays 281 yards, but it is uphill. Had about 30 yard pitch left. Great finishing hole.
Finished 18 holes in about 4 hours and 20 minutes. Not bad pace, but could have been faster if the people in front of me played ready golf. My only complaint is the price. $45 is pretty steep for a 12:10pm tee time on a Thursday. I say $35 is more reasonable. This course compares to say Indian Hills or Jurupa which is only $15-$25 hot deal and is maintained similar. Even though the price is sort of high, I definitely recommend this course. Also, you should get some candy in the snack shop.

Played On 12/05/2018Rainy Day
Drove 25 miles on a rainy day and showed up to the course and it was barely raining. The guy at the pro shop tells me that they're actually closing up the course for the day. Can't handle a little bit of rain?
Eagle Glen Golf Club
Played On 11/14/2018First hole had a black flag. Told one of the guys in the carts to fix it, but he didn't do anything or call anyone. Just kept telling me how "they should have done it earlier in the day". Just do your job and resolve the issue instead of talking and doing nothing.
