Monument at Troon North Golf Club
Played On 04/17/2021Greens are not good!
Troon North Monument greens are hardly puttable. I’m a zero handicap golfer and the poor greens made for an unenjoyable day. They look good, but they are so grainy the ball breaks uphilll and they are terribly slow. Even a full shot doesn’t make a ball mark in the green. The course is otherwise in good shape. The pace of play was slow. We started at 2:20 and finished the last two holes in the dark. There was no Marshall on the course. We played Grayhawk that morning and the greens were really good. Quintero and We-Ko-Pa greens were also good. Stay away from Troon North.
Saguaro Course at We-Ko-Pa Golf Club

Both courses are about the same layout. Fun design, some topography changes - good desert golf. Great place to play 36 in one day. Greens are just so-so - pretty slow, They look good, but putt slow. Fairways are perfect. A good day of golf, but nothing special.
Olde Stonewall Golf Club

Very fun golf course to play. Elevations are stunning. No two holes are the same. Fairways are as good as you will ever play. Greens are pretty good, but a bit grainy. You should definitely play this golf course as the views are beautiful and the holes are very unique. Golf carts have GPS which is needed to navigate between holes. Highly recommended and worth the $150 green fee.
3 Lakes Golf Course
Played On 09/16/2016Fun Golf Course
Fun golf course, lots of hills and elevation. Fairways and greens had a fungus, but it looks like it's improving. Greens are still pretty rough, but puttable. Really a fun course with some interesting holes. Staff is rough around the edges, no real golf pro just a guy running the register. Driving range is pretty bad, range balls appear to be fished out of the lake. Pace of play is good. Not a great golf course, but really fun to play. For $25, it's a fun time.
