The Chimneys Golf Course
Played On 04/18/2023Green Fees are too High
The course is growing into really nice shape. I fail to understand the recently elevated green fees. Our group plays twice per week so we are exploring other courses in the area. While we enjoy the course and the very friendly staff this course in not worth $55 - $80 for a WEEKDAY !!!
The Chimneys Golf Course
Played On 08/18/2020Fantastic condition
The Chimneys course was in great condition. From tee box to green everything was plush and green. Sand traps were freshly raked too. The course was not crowded at all for our 1:26 tee time. Our twosome finished in less than. 3.5 hours.
We'll absolutely play here again soon.
Chateau Elan Golf Club - Woodlands Course
Played On 08/06/2020Greens need some help
Overall the course was in very good condition. The staff was very friendly. The pace of play was good. Our twosome fiinished in about 3.5 hours. The cart ladies were nice and efficient. The bad...the Greens. They rolled ok but had what looked like a fungus and had several spots on them. Folks, please repair your ball marks. We fixed a half dozen on every green. I'll be back.
Hi rickstreicher. We appreciate you leaving a review and rating us. We will inform the entire team, so they know their hard work is paying off. We look forward to having you back at Chateau Elan Golf Club - Woodlands Course!
Monroe Golf & Country Club
Played On 05/09/2018Good course. Good value.
Overall we all thought the course was in good shape. There are lots of small elevated greens which it seems is the main protection for the course. We agreed we would have cut 2 strokes per 9 if not for the smallish greens. The tee boxes were as hard as my head but otherwise I really liked the course. I will come back again.
Chicopee Woods Golf Course - Village Nine
Played On 04/27/2015Village and Mill suffered from all the rain
We played the Village and Mill and we were all sorely disappointed. The tee boxes and fairways were in really bad shape. There were bare spots on both tee boxes and fairways. The traps had not been raked and were difficult to hit a decent shot from any of them. The greens were ok. But overall the course was not worth the $38 we paid on a Monday.
Chateau Elan Golf Club - Chateau Course
Played On 02/08/2014Good value using Golfnow.
I always enjoy playing Chateau Elan but this time the course was not in the same great shape that I am used to. The fairways and traps were in good shape for winter play. Several tee boxes had virtually no grass on them. Come on guys, rye is cheap! The greens also had some kind of weed growing on them. They rolled true but looked splotchy. The clubhouse and cart guys were friendly, polite and accommodating. The cart girl was hot and nice too. Overall I thought it was a good value for $39 on Golfnow.
Absolutely insane that they’re charging as much as they’re charging. It’s supposed to be a city course but it costs more than most of the really nice clubs in the area. It’s well-kept but $90 is ridiculous, especially for the five-plus hour rounds you get here
