Even though the course was not suppose to reseed until a week later, they were throwing sand on most tee boxes. Most tee boxes and fairways were cut so low that it was like hitting off a car path. The rough just off the fairways was so high that we lost a number of balls. The greens were in good shape.

First their computer was not working. When people showed up he said to go when you wanted to not relying on tee times. This backed up the whole course for the entire day, My slowest round of the year. Cut grass all over the fairways. Saw only one person working on course. Looks like they are letting the course get bad. Many places standing water that attracted mosquitoes and many ants on tee boxes. Couldn't wait to finish this round.

I was pleased with the course except 90% of the sand traps were fill with water from the heavy rains. Greens and fairways were in good shape. Very nice views of south mountain and Phoenix.

The greens and fairways were well maintain. The only problem I saw was the constant Luke air force jets flying by. Extremely noisy. Houses also lined both sides of fairways.

I can tell they are trying to get course in better shape but not yet there, 50% of sand traps have no sand in them, Course was extremely wet due to overwatering, Chucks of grass everywhere from cutting. Greens were in good shape, Will try again at a later time

The course seems to get many walkers and beginner players that definitely will slow up play. Many holes play long even from the white tees. The sands traps are like cement which was disappointing. The greens and fairways were.in good shape.

I live in west Phoenix and it is my favorite course in the west. I always look forward to playing the course. Excellent driving and chipping range included in the green fee. Course bar has a good Happy Hour on the patio that overlooks the 18th hole.

I play this course on a regular basis. Since new owners have taken over about two months ago, they keep trying to upgrade the course. Installed GPS on carts this week. Play is getting pretty heavy lately and play has been slower then usual.

It is a very difficult course and would not recomend it unless you are at least a 20 or less handicap. If you are over 20 handicap and just want to have fun and do not mind losing many golf balls , go do it

I have played this course many times last winter and now this fall. It is a geat deal for $25 or less. I am always impress with the greens. It is neceesary on many holes to hit the fairways since most of the conditions off the fairways are rocky. Not good if you have good irons and you want them to stay that way.

The gold course has a good layout with different degree of difficulty. Greens are not very consistent between holes. Some slow some fast and some need repaired.
