Showed up at 10 am for a 10:30 tee time. They were already out of range balls. There were no keys for the golf carts although there were 10 carts in the lot. We got on the list to get a key, but at 10:45 were letting 11 am tee times to get keys and tee off. They used the excuse that the GolfNow times were messing up there tee sheets. Vert unprofessional and very unprepared for the day. Will not be back to RedWolf and will not recommend this course.

I’ve played this course at least 50 times over the last 25 years. I’ve never seen the course in this deplorable condition. I will not be back

surprised we didn’t lose our golf cart in the massive caverns in the fairways. The greens had crabgrass growing all over them. Worse corse I’ve played in years. Won’t be back or recommend this to my worst enemy !!

Nice course for greens that were 2 months old. Fairways lush. Carts in good shape. Friendly folks

Good Lord, this is the worst course I've played in years. The greens were the worst. The golf carts should be retired. I don't remember the jungle areas around the fairways. Won't be back and will NOT recommend this course.

BY FAR THE WORST COURSE I'VE EVER PLAYED. THEY SHOULD DONATE THE LAND TO THE HEB DISTRIBUTION CENTER ACROSS CLAY ROAD, THEY WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE BETTER USE OF THE LAND. VERY FEW PEOPLE ON THE COURSE. I ALWAYS ARRIVE EARLY, USUALLY 1 HOUR BEFORE THE POSTED TEE TIME. I WAS TOLD I COULD NOT GET A CART KEY UNTIL CLOSER TO MY TEE TIME AFTER BUYING BUCKET OF PRACTICE BALLS. ON THE COURSE, THE TEE BOXES WERE BY FAR THE BEST PART OF THE COURSE. UNFORNUNANTLY SOMEONE MUST HAVE STOLEN ALL THE LAWN MOWERS, THE FAIRWAYS HAVENT BEEN MOWED RECENTLY. AREAS AROUND THE PONDS AND SAND TRAPS HAVE'NT SEEN AN WEED EATER IN A WHILE, BUT APPARENTLY THEY WERE'NT NEEDED BECAUSE THERE WAS NOT SAND IN THE BUNKERS, ONLY HARD PACKED MUD. AFTER TRAVERSING THE FARM LAND, ONCE I FINALLY FOUND THE GREENS, TO MY DISMAY (OR NOT) THE GREENS WERE THE WORST I'VE EVER SEEN, I DIDN'T KNOW IF THE WINTER GRASS WAS STILL TRYING TO COME IN OR LEAVE. BUT IT DIDNT MATTER, THE GREENS WERE MORE BUMPY THAN A MINE FIELD ON A MILITARY BOMB RANGE. THE COURSE HAS BEENN FROM MINE AND SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM ANY GOLFERS IDEA OF A NICE LEISURE ROUND OF GOLF. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

JUNIOR TOURNAMENT ON PANTHER TRAIL (SISTER COURSE TO THE OAKS). TEE TIME WAS FOR PANTHER TRAIL. PRO SHOP MOVED US TO THE OAKS, NEVER PALYED BEFORE. COURSE IS IN GREAT SHAPE EVEN THOUGH THEY ARRIATED RECENTLY. ROUGH IS AS DEEP AND DIFFICULT TO PLAY OUT OF AS ANY OTHER COURSE IN THE HOUSTON AREA. BUNKERS WERE UNDER CONSTRUCTION, SO THEY WERE NOT PLAYABLE. NUMBER 16 (PAR 5) WAS BEING REPAIRED FROM RECENT FLOODING, SO IT PLAYED AS A PAR 3. CART GIRL WAS VERY BUSY WITH THE JUNIOR TOURNAMENT. ONLY SAW HER TWICE DURING ROUND. TEMPS WERE HIGH 90's WITH HIGH HUMIDITY. NEEDED MORE CART GIRL.

By far the best course in the area. I live across from one of the best courses in the Houston area, but don't play because of $$$. Saw deer on the course for the first time during round.just wish they would offer some hot deals every now and then.

Wilderness is always fun to play. In great shape, and a challenging course. The greens are always soft, and undulating. This is a course that I could play everyday.

I have always enjoyed the layout. When you can talk to guys fishing on the lake while your waiting to hit you approach to the green, that's just cool. Numerous holes run along the lake or go over the lake to the greens. The pro said the greens were not all the way in. The dog legs on #'s 9 and 10 are fun and difficult to master. Watch out for the friendly alligator in the pond between 1 and 9. Great track, fun to play. Bring plenty of balls.

Red Wolf was in good shape. The green complexes were growing in real well. Pace of play is never an issue. I've always liked the course for the value. Keep it up.

Black horse is always in perfect shape. The people are friendly ans the pro shop is packed with merchandise. What a great experience.

Typical city course, greens in good shape. Mowed grass everywhere. Raking the bunkers at 2:00 in the afternoon. So the bonkers were in terrible shape. Carts look like the aftermath of a day in rush hour traffic on Houston's freeways. If it wasn't for the great price on Golfnow.com, this course would be a PASS. Time to fire the Lopez Mgt. group and repair one of Houson's oldest courses.

Very friendly staff. Course was in great condition. I live south of Houston, so it was quite a bit of a drive, but it was well worth it. I will be back soon.

Clear creek is always in good condition. There is usually not a Marshall to keep the pace of play moving. A five hour round on the weekday is not unusual. Too many slow playing 5-somes. Also, the high grass rough is a real slow play magnet. Need to monitor the pace of play and cut the rough down so we can play the ball where it lies.

I've played this course numerous times over the years. I live in the area. There was little grass in the fairways, it was mostly weeds and needed to be mowed. Way too many greens had bad spots covering a good deal of the surface, with some completely dirt. The course was in the worst condition I have ever seen it. The cart girl only came out when an afternoon tournament started . I won't be back. For my money, I would rather go to Bay Forest, Evergreen Point or Eagle Point.

Why is it when you play a golf course there is always at least one hole the eats your lunch every time. This hole is #18. It appears to not be that tough of a hole, but I find myself 180+ yards out or hitting into a stiff south wind. Great design, use of the land. Some par 4's allow you to grip and rip a driver, some make you play smart. Many scoring hole if you stay to the proper side of the fairway. Plenty of water hazards to make approach shots a little unnerving. Evergreen Point is a must play.

The rough has always been high because of a Scottish links design, but you can loose a family member in the rough right now. It's not even kept up. Full of weeds, small trees.
