Challenging par 3

Well priced ,particularly at twilight rates. Or with Cimarron card. Very welcoming staff. Often a shortage of golf carts around noon. Recommend a late afternoon round. At 4pm or later you can play 18 in 2 hrs. Excellent greens, fairways need better cutting, rough can be really rough. Food here is very reasonable and excellent quality and a beautiful setting looking out over the golf courses and mountains

Classic old course

From the 1950s, in reasonable condition but parts are burnt out and greens are thin , but true and quick. Friendly staff and a quick round. Look for Golf Now specials, i paid $39 at 11.30am with hot deal and $10 credit

Hillside course not overly long but quite tight in places. First timers will find it tough, particularly the greens which are fast and very undulating. 129 slope off member tees reflects the difficulty. Not a walking course unless you are young and fit

Late twilight 18 holes 3 hours

Course is in ok condition, not as good as past years, but early in season, so will improve. Lovely mountain views, very peaceful, no houses. Also no shade but lots of drinking water. Food is very good and very reasonable. $99 discount card is well worth getting.

Sunday golf and brunch a great deal

Played in 100 degree sunshine. Course in good shape. A few greens bumpy, most good. Should be more drinking water around course. Most holes surrounded by homes but loads of room. No gps on carts. Nice bunkers good sand. Probably 4.5 stars.

Good value

Nice parkland course with some ravine carries. No water. Looks like winter rain damage washed out some paths. Overall decent.shape and good greens. Sand in bunkers pretty thin and more like dirt than sand. Roving cart carries no alcohol. Summer rates aj excellent value. Odd that power carts have no ice box, but they do have gps.

Great summer rates.

$39 in June compare with $100 in prime season. Great condirion, a few burnt out areas. Greens very good but slow. A minor quibble - why do they make the practice green completely different from what is on the course? At this time of the year the course closes at 2pm. Pity because a late twilight 9 holes would be good. Restaurant is open and you get 25% off food by showing green fee receipt.

Good course

After closure due to floods the course was in good condition but greens were thin and quite slow. Fairways were lush but a bit long. Play was slow considering we were all trying to get 18 holes in before dark. Expensive unless you get a special deal

Nice par3 course

13 par 3s and 5 short par 4s. Nice layout with lots of ponds and mature trees. Many of the par 3 s are 170 yards plus. 2.5 hours to play. Easy to walk. Tees were in very average condition, fairways good, greens nice.but slow, bunkers good. Lots of dead leaves on tees fairways and greens.

Better than I expected

Have visited Palm Springs for the last 6 years and avoided this course because of bad reviews. With good courses over $80 decided to try this at $40. Was pleasantly surprised. Very quiet location, friendly starter, not at all busy. Greens are not that good and very variable - no. 1 green is the worst, so things do improve !. Teee boxes and fairways quite good. Bunkers a bit thin on sand but I've seen worse. Good layout. Power carts do not have gps but are clean and run well.

Nice place

Opening holes are very tight with homes on one side and out of bounds wall on other. If you get past the first 3 or 4 then things open up. Very friendly staff. Priced right in low $50s. Nice greens, some fairways a bit sparse. New power carts, grass practice range with free.balls. overall a very pleasant experience

Difficult executive course

A lot of water. Fast greens with big slopes. Average conditioning. Surrounded by houses on every hole. No ball cleaning. No ice and no gps. Friendly staff. Fair price from Golf Now. Not worth more than $45.

Great summer value

Under $40 is a great deal. Compare with over $80 in March. Pretty wide open layout. Long par 3's. Back nine way longer and more difficult than front. Plenty of shade. Lots of water. No gps on carts.

Better than in past

Much better conditions than in past few years. Good greens. Fairways a bit thin and lots of bare spots in rough. Good course layout. Lots of water. Nearly 5 hours for a round is too much. No course marshalls. No on course refreshments.
Very good value at. $45 or less in prime season.

Good weather
Used cart

food and beverage spoil otherwise excellent day

$6 for a beer, $4 for a bottled water and expensive snacks combined to give a negative feeling on what was otherwise a very good golfing experience.

good par 3 course

only one short par 4 , rest par 3's, but from the black tees some are quite a challenge. Great for a quick round and watch for specials which are a great deal. Power cart is always included, though it would be an easy walk. Greens in June were outstanding and still good at end of August.

A bargain in September

scenic course with some water and mountain views. Good condition, interesting holes. Not long and an easy slope rating. A terrific deal for $30. Would probably not play in prime season when rates can be 3 times as much. Friendly staff and nice club house and food.
