I am assuming that this past year really hurt Quail Ridge. The weather recently may have had some reasoning as well. Greens were pretty fast and all of the course was still pretty dead, which was expected due to the time of year. The limited staff which I would assume is due to covid. Practice facilities were struggling as well. But for the cheap price, all was kind of expected. The course has seen its better days for sure!

Fun Sunday morning round with the regular golf group. We had 6 booked but 1 backed out that morning so it was a bummer he lost out on the prepaid but that is more of an issue through Golfnow than the course. Course staff was very accommodating with the early showers and let us push our tee times back. Course was in decent shape but the practice green was way slower than the course so that was a bit disappointing. Will be back for sure, play here several times a year.

Very poor course conditions and management. I booked a 7:39AM tee time and waited for 30 mins before someone showed up to the course.with almost no practice time, I was rushed to my tee time with 10 mins to go by the starter. Course had limited "decent" greens, lots of dead spots and weeds growing in the rest. Pull out of sandtraps, not maintained at all. Just not worth the cost, plenty of other courses the same or slightly more that are wellmore cared for... Don't waste your time here.

Decided to try one of the courses out in Baytown while on vacation, all I heard was good things about the area and the courses. The only downfall was that the GPS link from my reservation led me to the wrong course (Raven) so I was about 30 mins late getting to the course. I was hesitant with aeration warning, but it really wasn't that bad other than a lot of sand on the greens. Course was incredible otherwise, with amazing views on almost every hole. Will certainly play again when I come back.

First time playing Emerald Bay, from Memphis where most nice courses are private. The staff was very friendly and helpful to get around the clubhouse and facilities. The course was in great shape, greens seemed a little slow. I will for sure play here again.

Great layout and difficulty. Needs some tee box and fairway work but greens were in decent shape. Great practice facilities and clubhouse!

Course needs some much TLC. It's been around a year since I have played Mirimichi. It's gone downhill from when it first opened years ago. The course was extremely dry and in some cases burnt while the greens seemed to be the only thing they cared for... but they were even a little grown in and slow. Surroundings on the course were very overgrown, weeds and tall grass around and on the cart paths. Assuming they just don't get a lot of traffic, maybe due to the high course fees? I certainly will not be paying more than $40 ever to play. Even the carts seem to have been downgraded with no GPS of any kind. You can get much more for your money playing the city courses or out in Bartlett.

Went out for a hot deal from GolfNow and glad I did as the course was in decent shape. Bunkers should be filled in if not going to maintain. It was about 105 degrees with little to no water when we made it to the few locations. We got stuck behind several slow groups which made our round last almost 5 hrs. Outside of the bunkers I thought the course was in great shape, challenging fast greens and thick fringes made for a difficult but fun round.

Slow golfers are by far the worst! The only thing that can intensify the frustration is when they aren't any good. It took me over 2 hours and 30 mins to complete the front 9 on this day when normally at an average pace it would take an hour an 45 mins at max! A foursome was holding up another foursome, twosome and 2 singles, one of which was me. to avoid even more wait time I joined up with the other single for 2 holes before he gave up and left. Slow pace should always be confronted in my mind. And for you golfers that are the slow type, please be considerate and allow held up groups to play through!

Got to get out with some friends and family early Sunday morning to play a little golf. I played at Fox Meadows a TON in high school and college so thought we would check it out. It has been several years but back in the day it was a little rugged and run down. It has taken a 180 degree turnaround and is actually a nice course for public standards. Should play it more often!

Galloway to me has been up and down for several years. Never too great but on average the better public course every year. Audubon had a run a few years back and to me, had better course conditions. Galloway you just pay more and get less honestly. Still a fun course to play with friends.

Finally able to get a warm enough day to get out and play Mirimichi. Course hasn't had the chance to grow in from the winter so it's a little rough but still an amazing course! I do miss the gps systems the carts used to have, but not a need to come back. I'll be back several more times this year!

Bought a last minute tee time online for a discount price. Arrived 45 mins early for my 245 tee time to warm up and practice to find several college teams warming up. I didnt think twice about it and went on my way to warm up. My tee time was coming up so I headed to get my cart about 5 mins prior to tee off time. There were no carts and they said some should be coming around shortly. About 15 mins went by as I saw 5 carts pull up and taken to teams. They finally provide a cart and sent me off to be paired with one of the college teams. I had no problem with being paired with anyone but by the time I actually teed off it was already 330. There should haven't been any tee times being sold online when they had 19 college teams playing that afternoon. I barely finished 1 hole before I realized there was no chance I could finish 9 let alone 18! Very disappointed!

CCC had decent greens considering the time of year. Couldn't pass up the great price I found online. I've played CCC many times before and consider it a pretty challenging course due to the narrow fairways and possibly challenging pin locations. Great challenge either way!
