Stonecrest Golf Club
Played On 12/02/2023The Bunker rakes are nice.
That's all the good to say about this course. The greens are not very good. There are better options close by. Several fairways on the back nine are spotty. If you know what good golf is, this is not it. But the bunker rakes are excellent. Personally I don't think it's worth $23/round.
Country Club of Silver Springs Shores
Played On 05/29/2023a bit scruffy
The course layout is nice. There are no homes along the front nine which is very peaceful as it's just golf. On the back nine there are older style condos and there was a constant beating of music off in the distance. Didn't like that. My review: The greens were good, the fairways were mixed with some areas having lots of weeds, and the cart paths are mostly shot, As it wasn't too expensive I would go back and play again. Obviously this was a decent place at one time in the past.
Hernando Oaks Golf & Country Club
Played On 03/14/2023Not bad
It was a beautiful day to play golf. The course layout is interesting. but the course has not been watered it a long time so the ground is very hard. But it was inexpense for winter golf in Florida. The greens were in good shape although not too fast. overall the courses average plus.

Summit Chase Country Club
Played On 12/29/2015Great course to Play
This is a nice course. Back nine is narrower and more difficult than the front, but conditions are always very good. Can't go wrong spending your money here.
Reunion Country Club
Played On 10/31/2014Course is in great shape. Greens are fast.
Reunion is in fine shape these days. They have even added sand to the bunkers! What is with that! I play all over and the course is definitely worth the greens fee price.
Heritage Golf Links - Legacy Nine
Played On 09/15/2014Don't pay too much
The greens are weak, lumpy and patchy. The tee boxes are either not flat or worn out. To give you an example of the lack of care put into the maintenance of the course, the second tee was resodded. But the tee was not even leveled first so that was just a wasted effort. The fairways are nice. Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $20 to play here.

Bear's Best Atlanta
Played On 05/09/2014Greens so slow it was painful
The greens were obviously not cut - or they are cutting them so high that they are ridiculously slow! It was completely unenjoyable to putt. I have putted on faster sanded greens! We paid $20 for this round so for that price is was OK, but for more than that I would have felt badly cheated.
The Trophy Club of Apalachee
Played On 04/26/2014Course needs maintenance
The tee boxes are in poor condition. The greens are ok but were slow. There are WAY too many areas on the fairways that are neglected. The course is OK if you get a cheap price because it reeks of cheapness, especially compared to other area courses. Obviously, the course management is not spending a dime on up keep.
Monroe Golf & Country Club
Played On 8/9/2013Excellent conditions. Would play here anytime.
Great shape. Nice easy layout. Lot of fun and challenge. Good chance to test out how low you can score.
The Georgia Club - Chancellors Red/Black Course
Played On 5/11/2013Excellent as always.
This course has always been worth the trip. The greens are fast and true.
Country Club of Gwinnett
Played On 1/16/2013Fun hilly course
This course was fun to play. Staff was nice. Course was wet from three days of rain but was still playable. Greens were good. Play this course if you like hilly course with moderate challenges.
Lanier Golf Club
Played On 1/10/2013Play this course ONLY if you skip putting
Greens are as bad as reported. We paid $12 which is all it is worth. The upside is there is a lot of privacy as there are very few players. Downside is you can not putt on the greens, but that is OK if you play a non-putting game like we did. If the ball is within a pin radius of the cup then it is an automatic 1-putt. Outside is automatic 2-putt. Of course, you can attempt to putt but you will just have to get lucky.
Lanier Islands Legacy Golf Course
Played On 11/3/2012A shot makers course
This course is not about hitting the long ball, it is about hitting accurate tee and iron shots. But that is the easy part as the greens are fast but true. On some holes you will have to be on the right part of the green or you will most likely 3 putt. Great value as it includes food and range balls. Great staff.
