The Raven is a great track. You can always go there knowing what you're going to get. You don't ever have to worry about what kind of shape the course is in, unlike some other courses in the Destin area. My main issue was there was no marshal out on the course to help the pace of play. I played as a single and was supposed to be paired up with a threesome. The threesome showed up with more people and ended up playing a 6 some. The starter put me out in front of them, behind a 4 some. For 18 holes the 4 some never even offered up the opportunity for me to play through. They had a group ahead of them, but not to the point where they were waiting every shot. They needed an on course marshal to facilitate and help those kinds of issues along.

Also, what happened to the mango towels??? These were one of the best features of the Raven on a hot day. Need to go back to having those available.

Was a tad disappointed in the overall shape of the course. May have just been the time of year, but was expecting it to be more plush and green than it was. However, the greens were in great shape. They were fast and putted 1000% true. Best greens in the Destin area that I've played in the last few years. Really nice course and would recommend it to anybody coming to the area. For the money, I'd recommend either booking a Hot Deal here, or go somewhere else. In my opinion the course is priced a little bit higher than it should be.
