So, got off to a rough start as they could not find my tee time (12:11 on the North Course)... after showing my confirmation on my phone, they found my time as 12:02 on the South.. have no idea how that happened)... with that said, fit me in and then was able to play with n issues... just lost a few balls as the rough was pretty deep and much, so anything that found it, was a search (as I was a single...it made it even harder).... greens were fast and had a great day!

Paid for 18, but the wind was howling and decided it was enough punishment after we made the turn... course is still beat up from construction but the greens were good and no really issue with the conditions... just a tough day!

Over 5 hours to play this round.. it's a very challenging corse for the average as it is long and demanding... good condition, and really like how the challenge... but got to do something about the pace of play. Also disappointing that you have to pay (extra) for the GPS that is on the cart.... that is pretty weak!

Just another nice round at Butterfield.... Got behind a very slow riding foursome (we were a twosome riding), and having to wait on each shot (tee box, fairway, and greens)... caught them on the tee box on #6, and they made no offer to let us play through.... so having to wait on this hole, and then the par 3 #7, we just went around them to be able to play at a good pace... this is where a Marshall would come in handy to tackle situations like this and help courteous players keep the round moving.

Tee boxes could use some mowing.. and fairways are showing the results of this very hot weather... greens in great shape and cause played fast today (3 hours for 18)...

My favorite cause in the IE... great layout, and beautiful views.... hard enough to put up a big number, but totally fair if you hit it well....

Really enjoy the course as it is challenging yet fair (except for number 9)... today was unusual as they were putting water on the fairways and doing lots of mowing which really should not be done in the middle of the day when trying to play... Maybe they were doing this as it is expected to get uber hot in a couple of days.. and the fairways were already a bit bare in spots.... still, a fun day and a good course.

Course was pretty wide open (players) so pace was outstanding... this is a good course, but tee boxes need some work and inconsistent bunkers (some muddy, some dry)... fairways in decent shape... It has a lot of different holes so its fun to play and you can get into lots of trouble here... so hit it straight!

Love this course as it plays long and hard even from the whites..... great character and really a good layout.... way crowded today and marshal let me switch from the South to the north course because of the back.... really nice of him to do this.

Once again, this is the most beautiful course in the IE.... great layout, wonderful condition, top notch staff, and just a pleasure to play here.... the challenge is not to get caught up in the beauty of the house and stay focused on the task at hand of playing good golf. Thanks for this outstanding place to play.

Pretty tough track for your average player... small greens and some tough driving holes... a little inconsistent bunkers this time.. but other then that, the course is in good shape... got pretty stacked up on the back 9, but still got the round done in about 4 1/2 hours.

Even with the greens still recovering and a little sandy, the course played great (it even made the greens a little slower therefore a bit easier than normal). Was crowded, but moved good until the back nine (had to skip a hole on the front as I was a single rider, and the single in front of my did not want me to join him,, and there was a walking threesome in front of him... so I got in front of all of them... was awesome, and then going a very nice twosome of #13 and enjoyed the rest of the round.

SO, with the second course being closed, Chino Creek was pretty stacked up today... also go behind a foursome that included 3 women who were not particularly good, so it was SLOW! Rest of the course is as usual, tougher than Butterfield, in good shape, greens rolling nice and pretty darn challenging!

So, this is a nice course that the front (except 9) plays pretty solid... Number 9 is crazy hard compared to the rest of the front 9.... What protects this course is the back nine, especially if its windy like today... makes club selection difficult due to the elevation changes and wind so it can play really hard, or moderately hard depending on the conditions... it is a good course, lots of scoring opportunities and good layout.

So, they have switched the 9's which makes this course play more difficult going out now... which really slows down the ice of play.... course is still fun and right in front of you, but just got to ready for a harder front nine now.

This is a nice course that would be of moderate difficulty if it were not for the greens... which protect the scores and the challenge here ... super hard putting but really playable tee to green, so makes for a good course that is fun, yet frustrating.... I do like it here.

Just a solid right in front of you course... nothing tricky, and a good mix of long medium and short holes with some open driving and some narrow driving needed... Greens were a but slow, but in good shape, and just a really playable layout... one of my favorites in the area.

Not a great in front of you course... very odd par 5's make this a not great locations... it is a tight course, and the par 3's are really strong, but not enough to make up for the other holes..... greens were running at 11+ so it made putting almost impossible if above the hole (and I like fast green)... this is not the normal speed of these greens, but a dry hot summer and fall... just makes it ridiculous to expect to putt well here.

This is a short course that is good for beginners or those who hit it short.... Can get around here without a driver if you choose, but really other than the par 5's (2), really don't need one. Tight and inconsistent bunker condition as well as pretty slow play for a short course make this overpriced and not a regular visit for me. ($35 but got 10 bucks off through golf now code).

Good course, greens in great shape, just need to get more consistent bunker sand, and fairways a bit iffy in lots of spots.
