Although I read all the reviews I always take them with a grain of salt because I am one to try out courses myself and sometimes you find a gem of a course that suits your ride and you’re playing style. When I play this course today I found that the staff was very friendly, the amenities were good and the cost was in very good shape albeit t that there were One or two tea boxes that were in the process of coming back. The greens were in very good shape as well as the fairways. I have played a lot of the other local courses and found that this course is well worth the money that I spent on it and I had an enjoyable day as the Pace of play was also very quick. I would highly recommend this course at this point in time

This was the first time that I have played this course. I read other reviews but decided to go and play there anyway so I can judge myself. I'm glad I went. The greens had just been seeded and you can see that they were coming back nicely. They should be fine in about a week. This has to be done at some point in order to let them grow. Staff was great! Pace of play was very good and fairways were in decent shape and are narrow so it makes you think about club selection. I will be returning again because I want to give the course a fair assessment. I had a great round and a great time.

This course is not very long from the white tees but presents many challenges. The greens aren't very big and do not hold approach shots very well so you must be precise. Some of the greens could also use a little TLC but overall the course is very good. A little pricey during peak hours/season but worth the money. Management is rather crabby but all of the other workers are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to play on a decent local course. They have a great 19the hole called Maggie's. 1st hole/halfway house a little pricey but if you like hotdogs that you can taste for a few hours after you eat them, then they are worth the price. Cool course. Pace of play can be better but in NJ it is "par for the course"! Average round is about 4:15 hrs/min

I like this course and the "workers" there. Management is another story. The course layout is good but most of the greens are still in rough shape. I've. been playing this course for a year now year round and certain greens seem either to be neglected or they just don't know how to bring them back. Ball bounces instead of rolls. They also need to roll them flat especially after they rehole as they have a crown around the hole after pulling out auger. Fairways are good but 14 always is a marsh. Little pricey especially for the conditions. Pace of play is poor. They need someone to drive around and keep things moving. Hope things change because this course has a lot of potential.

I've played this course many times over the past year even during the spring summer fall and during the cold and inclement Jersey weather.
The layout is good but there are many greens that have issues with patchy spots that have yet to recover and it's been that way for the year that I have played there. At $50 per round I can play the county courses which are in much better condition. Pace of play can be slow and bunkers need sand not whatever they are using in it. Lots of rocks pebbles etc and hard with no depth. However, I do like the course and hope they can bring it up to being overall competitive and DEFINITELY adjust the price. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend anyone to play it at least once to make your own determination. It really has a lot of potential.

Played this course 2x while staying in Deland FL and found it a very good value in comparison to other local courses. Staff was friendly and helpful. The course was in great shape and it is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Would recommend it highly and if were living in area I would become a member.
