The Links At Union Vale
Played On 08/10/2018You’ll never find a public golf course that comes close.
I dare you to find a public golf course that can compare with The Links at Union Vale. And please don’t say Centennial because it’s not even close.
Most true seasoned golfers prioritize greatness in a golf course by its design and layout, and how the designers are able to use the land naturally to accomplish their goals set down in writing by architects. The Links is truly a Great golf course design and the crew has continuously outdone themselves by improving conditions every year. The golf course is in championship shape and with impeccably true greens rolling at around 12 on the stimpmeter, they could easily meet the standards set by many of Westchester and the Husdon Valley’s exclusive private country clubs. Oh, and did I mention my prime time early morning round cost 60 dollars? Yea. . .
So if you’re looking for a truly marvelous golf experience that won’t break the bank, look no further and take a ride over to the Links at Union Vale and see for yourself.
Lakes/Fairways at Centennial Golf Club

This is typically a very nice public golf course. However it is important to note that the greens, though potentially fast and firm, were in moderately poor condition. Many of the tee boxes from the back tees are beginning to crown and offer good players some poor lies. The tee boxes also are quite beat up. The most discouraging aspect of the overall experience however, is the price. This course is very overpriced when considering both condition AND layout, as well as comparable courses.

Of your a real golfer this is one of the best public tracks in CT. Especially for the value. I’ve played all over the northeast and this is truly a great golf course as far as the style and layout and you will not find a better price for this type of course.
