It was better to be in the rough than in fairways. The fairways are hard with many areas of dirt patches. Rough provided some relief to get under the ball. Greens were mostly okay. My crappy game plus conditions made for a long day for me. Better players may of had an easier time.
The 1st tee was backed up about 20 minutes. We were a twosome with all foursomes ahead of us and a foursome behind. We had to wait for every shot and at every hole. When we made the turn and there were 2 foursomes waiting to tee off. Had a 15-20 minute wait to tee off on 10.

A bit soggy on course. Cart path only on holes 12-17 but overall an enjoyable round. The best round for the price with lunch included. Pace was a bit slow as we completed in 4h45m.

Played Metrowest earlier in the year and was impressed by the vast improvement in course conditions. This visit was disappointing as most fairways have lots of dirt patches and weeds. The roughs are mostly weeds and tall grass. Tee boxes and greens were ok. I’ll wait to play again when I hear fairway conditions are getting better.

Although a very popular course I don’t recommend playing at this time. Tee time was 9:00 but we didn’t tee off until close to 9:30. We got pushed due to a skins game with 32 people. Tee boxes and greens are in bad condition. Pace of play was ok.

Started off the morning with the starter (teenage young man) having ear phones in playing a game on his phone. I pulled up to the tee and startled him with my question about being next to tee off and who we were paired with. He had no clue and pulled a twosome from a later tee time that had asked him a question.
Fairways and rough have seen better days. Pace of play right at 5 hours. Didn’t know what the hold up was other than the foursome ahead was taking marginally more time on the green . I’m playing elsewhere for the summer and will revisit in fall.

I’ve played Eagle Dunes a handful of times and it always challenges me to think about the shots I take. I always enjoy the round though. The course was very busy at our tee time and we did have to wait to tee off on most holes. Part of the wait was the foursome in front of us weren’t playing ready golf. I’ll return in the future!

Course is in great shape. Greens are good and provided a challenge in reading for me. Overall a good day to play. I’ll be back!

Overall this is a great track. It was wet and a few holes were cart path only but it wasn’t a big deal. Course plays long with all par 3’s greater than 170 I believe. I played from the yellow tees and was challenged throughout.

Beautiful day but very windy. This course has a lot of water that is in play and consideration should be taken when selecting tees for the round. I played the whites which I think was about 6400 yards. Fairways and tee boxes are in excellent shape. Majority of green are excellent as well with only a few under repair or hot spots. I enjoyed the layout and it really challenged my thinking with the wind in play. I would recommend checking White Heron out!

The greens are in excellent shape! Although the course touts a lot of water, not much of it is in play. Fairways provide enough room to mis hit and recover around the course. I’d say for about $60 this is the best course for the price in central Florida!

Round took about 4.5 hours but we were a twosome behind a many foursomes and a threesome. Although we had to wait to tee up it up it wasn’t a long wait. Course is in great shape and staff very friendly. Enjoyed the day!

Horrible conditions all around. Grass growing in all bunkers. Grounds not kept up very well. Greens are in horrible shape. Rough areas really over grown.
