We really like this course, it's fun and challenging and conveniently located to central/north Phoenix. However, the conditions were not good at all. Lots of water standing on course, many dry spots with no grass at all. I'm sure they're working on it, but I won't play there again for another year!

Just because it's part of the historical Biltmore, you should play it once. The layout is fun and interesting. The fairways were in decent shape. The tee boxes were worn, probably due to many of the trees are so large now, they shade the tee boxes and the grass doesn't grow well. Greens are too tricky for a 21 index.

We played with another couple; our indexes are 10 and 14 for the men, and 14 and 20 for the women. We are not terrible golfers, however this course totally wore us out. Very hard, lots of long carries, many shots you can't see where you're going or how far to hit the ball before it goes into a ravine. Yes, it's really pretty, however, just too difficult have a good time. Many other courses in Tucson that are more 'fair' to the average golfer. The starter, Eddie, is great, and the practice facilities are very nice.

From arrival at course, to cocktails on patio to finish, we had a great experience! Josh in the pro shop is professional and very helpful. Steve in outside services is prompt and hard-working. The on-course beverage cart and the wait staff inside is knowledgable and fun. Overall, a great day!

Good location, course in pretty good shape. However, I'm a 21 index (female), played the Copper tee box, slope/rating 120. That's ridiculous for 5666 length. Most of the fairways are straight and narrow. Nearly all the greens go front-to-back UP, and have bunkers on either side of the front part of the green. Too long, too narrow, too lowly-rated. Doesn't make for 'fun' golf. My husband (14 index) agreed. Not worth playing twice.

Easy and fun to walk, course in very good shape. Fun yet challenging. Terrific practice for your short game. Will definitely play again, and again when we're short on time. Start to finish was an hour & a half.

Very nice facilities, well-stocked pro shop, good course conditions (January 2021). For an average golfer (handicap of 14-22), this is a very difficult course. There are MANY large bunkers exactly the distance you hit your drive. So to avoid them, you have to hit a dead-on perfect shot to avoid them, or you tee off with a shorter club. Elevated greens are designed to force you to hit middle of green. You hit long or to the side, and you're off the green into a bunker, or water. Very pretty, however if you're an average golfer, it's an expensive frustrating day.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews of Stonecreek. Outside of the price ($90/each + tax), we really enjoyed our round. Moderate difficulty, but fun and playable. Fairways in good condition after overseed. We will be back and hope for a price break!

No hybrids or driver on the range. Course in pretty good shape after over-seed. Rarely a flat lie on the greens, very difficult and 'tricked up.' Older facility but adequate, somewhat slow play (4 hours & 40 minutes).

We were excited to play Camelback, however we ended up being very disappointed. There was a 4-some in front of us, obviously playing for money, with nobody ahead of them for several holes. No marshall came around at all. Worse yet, due to lack of rain, the course was in terrible shape. Do not play here unless you get a true opinion of the course conditions.
