Kilmarlic Golf Club
Played On 10/01/2020no playable rough
First time playing was a challenge since there were many doglegs that made it hard to know just where and how far to hit the ball.
The fairways were fairly large, but if you missed the fairway, you were in a penalty area and probably lost your ball. There was no playable rough just off the fairway.

Fairways in good condition for early spring. Greens were slow and a little rough.
TPC Las Vegas

Definitely a high end course. This course is very playable if you can keep the ball on the fairway. A lot of rocky dessert if you don't. Greens were pretty fast but rolled true.
Myrtle Beach National Golf Club - West Course
Played On 5/29/2013Definitely a great value for the money, I paid $44, and I would play again.
The course is well maintained. The fairways are wide enough to be fair and allows you to keep out of trouble. The fairway traps are thin, which makes it easy to get out of them, while the green side bunkers are somewhat "soft". Their are many doglegs, but you could hit 200-225 off the tee and be on the fairway. Greens in great shape and not too fast. Their are yardage markers every 25 yards, well marked and yardage to front, center and back of green. No GPS on the carts. Definitely a great value for the money, I paid $44, and I would play again.
Hi Jim,
Thank you for choosing TPC Las Vegas and for sharing your impressions! You caught our greens at their fastest....but rolling true makes a huge difference. We have a good amount of turf, but yes..in the desert, accuracy key to a successful round. Until next time!
