This is a nice course if you get a good deal.

Nice mixture of uphill and downhill fairways and plenty of undulations on the greens. Everything snaps in the last two feet. Not slow...but not lightening, at least not today.

Two par-3's over 210 and many holes hitting the 3-wood for position instead of needing length - which brings me to one of two gripes. Unless you constantly play the ball from right to left do not play the tips. Many fairways are blocked (trees/position of box) for any player not able to move the ball...even when hitting 3-wood for position. Just cut back a couple of trees/overhang for those of us that hit a slight fade.

Second...pace of pay is pretty bad. No starter or ranger so everyone just does their own thing. If you get caught behind people who spray or can't putt...you're in for a long day.

This is a must play in NE Ohio. Tees, fairways, greens are in perfect shape. I will echo an earlier post in saying, if you’re looking to putt well, always look at your line from different angles. Great subtle breaks on these greens, which role medium fast and very true, due to the course being built on rolling hills.
Clubhouse and Zach, today’s outside staff, were extremely friendly and happy to give insight about the course. Can’t wait to play it again.

Heard good things and decided to give it a try - especially because of the great Sunday rate I found as a single. Got paired with an awesome twosome that didn't mind oat all me playing the back tees.
Course is in great condition, well manicured and the greens were perfect and rolled true. You may look at the the yardage and think this course is short but not matter what tees you play you'll hit every club in the bag. I highly recommend this course.

This is just an okay course. No starter so groups are stacked up (tee time was 10am). Fairways are pretty hard (doesn't look like they water much) and the roughs even harder. With most fairways lined with trees and always sloping one way or the other you can hit a great drive and end up having little to no shot. Tee boxes are not good although our foursome thought it looked like they haven't moved them in a while. Decent greens, all elevated, but they don't role true. Looks and plays like the grounds crew isn't staffed on weekends.

This is a wonderful, slightly challenging course for all levels. At first glance it looks like a hard walk but actually fairly easy. A bit short for long ball hitters but if you play the tips you'll hit most of the middle and short irons. Greens hold but are slow. Definitely worth your time!

This is a nice manicured public course with a very friendly staff and HUGE selection of...everything in the clubhouse!. Huge greens that were quick but not lightening and rolled true. Pay attention and trust the front, middle, back yardages or you'll have some lengthy putts. If you hit it decently straight (there are some trees but nothing too tight) and a decent putter you have a chance to post a low score.

First...it was a great day playing golf with my daughter at this course! With new ownership this course has massive potential but still needs some work. Renewed clubhouse is very nice and the staff extremely friendly. The course is somewhat long (6900 from the back) and, although being better maintained now, encompasses the same problems it's always had...very dry, very hard, with places in rough with little to no grass. Greens were receptive but not soft and rolled decently true. Front nine is somewhat tight on holes 2-5 but then opens up but if you spray the ball you'll find a pesky tree in the way from time to time. Back nine is pretty straight and gives your mid irons a bit of a workout if you're not a big hitter. If you're playing the back tees their par 3's are the toughest part of the course (one at 200 and one at 221). The course does have some character with the potential course length, in moving tees around - if they can grow some grass and water the fairways a little more it could be a gem. In talking with the staff this course gets a lot of play from seniors in the morning and leagues during the weekday afternoons. For the price and if you're not looking for plush...it's a nice option to the overpriced course on the other side of town.
