Thank you for your review. While we certainly try and separate ourselves from other courses we are not unique in allowing 5-somes as long as they keep the pace of a 4-some. Each course in Destin allows 5-somes and has the same protocol. I don't want you to be surprised when you encounter this at other courses in this area. We have a full time Pace of Play Host that in your words sounds like he was out there all day seeing him 5-times. We realize Pace of Play is very important and take this seriously. Unfortunately when you have a sold out golf course and you can have one group that may have challenges with their playing ability it can impact the whole course.
