Of the 36 different public golf courses that I have played in the area, Misty Creek is right up in the very top tier. It is definitely the most scenic, with beautiful views on many holes. The few times that you can even see houses they are not even close to play. Super quiet! Great condition. Very good practice areas. The only thing missing would be good on-cart GPS displays so a non-regular could tell where to shoot and how far to hit it. Definitely a thinking person’s golf course. My phone GPS app was a lifesaver. Enjoy!!

The fairways, greens and traps were in good condition. Some tees and some rough areas were only in so-so condition. The greens were receptive even in the afternoon. They rolled true and only had a modest amount of slope. Lots of water and doglegs but ample room to avoid danger if you can keep it in control. Having my GPS app helped since there was none on the cart. Very few houses close to play. I like The Preserve.

Nice property (no houses). Good practice area. Lots of wildlife (alligators). Walkable.

The fairways, tee boxes, and traps were in good condition. Lots of room on the fairways. The rough was spotty. The greens were healthy and rolled true but so firm that you had to aim short to avoid landing by the hole but ending up off the green. Also, there was no flag system (or GPS) so you had to guess at the pin position with a lot of greens being elevated.

A lot of holes were pretty long from the senior tees. The shorter par 4’s were 330 and the longer ones went up to 400. That’s long for a senior tee player like me. (White tees-6400; Gold tees-5800.)

Overall, I enjoyed the course and would recommend it. I just wish it wasn’t set up so that I had to try to reach the greens with woods and long irons after I hit drives as good as I could hit them.

I liked the property and the layout was good. Too bad that the course has been allowed to deteriorate so much. Tees were torn up. Fairways had so much bad grass that you were lucky if could end up on a patch of weeds. Greens were spotty with holes placed on slopes. No water or cart person on the course.

This disappointing course could be nice if it had some TLC.

Most greens had bare spots and small divots that messed up the roll of the ball. Fairways had bad areas and the rough was thin. Could be a nice course if it was given good care. No yardage markers or pin placement indicators. GPS was nice.

This is a good public course. Unfortunately, conditions can vary from season to season. Right now the conditions are not that good. The practice area and a lot of tees were torn up. The fairways had a lot of thin areas. Rough was same. I did see grass seed everywhere but none of it was sprouting. I guess that they are trying to improve conditions. Maybe in a couple months it will be good again. I hope so.

Good conditions. Greens very receptive but not mushy. Balls roll true with not a lot of curves. Good GPS on carts. Nice layout. Never close to any houses. Some car noise. Ok water practice range with balls provided.

Course is still not great but way better than last year. Especially the greens. So wide open that you don’t lose balls and you move right along because no one else is looking for their ball.

I like the layout of this course. It is challenging but fair. However, despite recent rains, the course seems a little dried out. Also, the fairways were cut too tight. Besides making it hard to hit, the ball would keep rolling too much.

What a terrific place to play golf. The greens, fairways, tee boxes, traps and even the roughs were in fabulous condition. Challenging but fair design. Loved it!! The only things that keep it from being perfect were 1) no GPS and 2) no pin placement chart. I had my own satellite GPS, so University was just about perfect in my view. It’s my gold standard!!

This is a fun, straightforward, flat course. Great for walking (which I did). Almost no bad spots. Greens were fairly receptive and rolled true. Traps in good shape. Nice practice area. Wide fairways, easy greens, and little danger makes for a low stress day of golf.

I like this Arnold Palmer designed course. You have to plan your way around this track, know your club distances, and hit it up in the air. Good greens and pretty good fairways. A little dry and close cut, but very playable. No GPS or green charts on the carts so you need your own satellite GPS if you are new. Definitely give this course a try.

Very pleasing to the eye with scenic views. Fairways and greens in great condition. Traps were fluffy sand. If you can target your drives and get the ball in the air with your irons you will enjoy this course. Just play the right tees. I got a great Hot Deal. If I could play at that price all the time I would.

I played here twice in the last week because of good HotDeals. The greens were healthy and rolled true. A few were quite soft but they still were speedy. A lot of them were elevated so you could not roll onto them. There were bad spots on only a few fairways while most were in good condition. The tees and traps were good. Overall a fair layout in good shape.

Even though the website says that “All rates before 11am include breakfast...” and there is nothing on Golfnow that says otherwise, when we got there they said that Hot Deals didn’t get meals. However, a good Hot Deal can still make it worthwhile.

The course has a straightforward layout and wide fairways. However, the fairways were so closely cut that it made for continual tight lies. Likewise, the greens had a lot of slope in them and they were so fast that it made putting and chipping more difficult than it needs to be. When you set the ball back down it shouldn’t start rolling on it’s own. When you make a great chip right up by the hole it should not circle around and come back towards you. This is not The Masters.

Staff was super friendly. Course was not that busy for a perfect day. Food and drink included made it a great deal. Greens were healthy, receptive and fast. Fairways were tight cut but you got a lot of roll. Nice forward green tees for us seniors. Good sand in traps. Straightforward layout with some holes that require thinking.

I got a great deal from GolfNow. The greens, fairways and tees were in very good condition. There was drinking water at several places but no cart service. No driving range but a hitting cage by the practice green. I like it better than some other more expensive courses.
