Nice course great and friendly staff. The greens were not in prime shape, fairways are still growing in. It is not ready for prime season. The price was right and we did enjoy our round.

First round of the season after a rough winter. The course played well considering. I look forward to playing it in top form. Very interesting and fun layout. We did get a lot of noise from the college. There was a baseball game and some student blasting music at the tennis courts. This is mostly the 9th hole and the first couple holes on the back.
Would definitely play again.

This could be a nice course, but it needs to have the money and effort put into it. The layout is interesting, but the conditions are awful. The green were un-puttable. The fairways were going to seed, and the aprons were smoked. Bunkers had no drainage, or it has not been kept up.
I can't imagine anyone playing this course twice.
I am a little angry at Golfnow for not having some sort of notice, that this course was so bad.
They wasted a day of my vacation.

This is a great course, it will beat you, you have been warned. They make great use of the terrain, and the rough can get pretty thick.
The biggest problem with the course WAS they didn't have regular beer and dogs for the turn. The restaurant that is there is nice but not tuned to the golfers. That has been remedied as of our last round.
It is a grand old club house, a beautiful but tough course, and nice folks.

Neat mix of 9s. The front is 1940s, the back 1980s. I really enjoyed this course. Fun layout, the greens are tougher than they look. Couse was is fantastic shape. No restaurant, but I got a huge all beef dog and a few beers at the turn and I was fine. Staff was great, a really enjoyable afternoon.

This is a fantastic old school course. It beat me up a little but I'll be back. Challenging and fun. We played on a beautiful day, and the course was in great shape. The periscopes on a couple blind tee shots were a cool touch. Greens were quick but not overly fast. A hilly course in Indiana is a true treat. I suggest you try it for yourself.

This is a beautiful and well maintained course. On the long side, the ladies get a big break on yardage. Wide fairways, not a ton of trouble. Really enjoyed playing there, and will do it again. It is an hour plus drive from my house, but I will gladly drive to play.

Awesome course. Interesting layout, great use of the land. Tough but there are opportunities. Staff and facilities are top notch. Can't beat it for the price. I live 40 minutes away, and play it 5+ times a year. Really enjoy it.

I enjoyed our round at Noble Hawk. It wasn't the best day, pretty cold and 30 mph wind gusts. That aside the layout was interesting, fairways were well groomed. The greens had been aerated and were not back to proper shape, still were fast. Links style with thick rough right to the edge of the fairways. The staff was very friendly and the facilities were beautiful. I got an awesome deal with golfnow. I don't know what the average rates are.

Play on 3/15/13 greens looked like they were just a few weeks from being season ready. Short but interesting. Lots of blind shots. Tiny greens, friendly people with a nice club house with great food. $25 is as much as I'd pay to play this course. It's a membership club, pretty cheap to join, plus you even get cheaper beer and food, with membership. I liked it but probably not enough to join. 9 holes and small uninteresting greens, just not enough to keep my attention.

The guy in the pro shop gave me a really hard time about how little I payed on Golfnow. He said it had to be for 9 holes, even made me pull the website on my phone to prove it was for 18. Then continued to complain about the deal I got. He stated they don't make any money of the one tee time per day, Golfnow get it all, that's why it was so cheap. My question is if he made no money off that tee time what does it matter what I paid. Furthermore, if you have a problem with the rates why do business with Golfnow? After my round I went back into the pro shop to look at a club that was for sale. They ignored me and my wife, so I left. Greens are very fast and challenging, fairways need help, layout is fairly bland. a couple neat holes.
