Our first time playing this course and will definitely be back. Friendly staff, well kept fairways, greens recently aerated but still very puttable. Ranger kept pace of play reasonable.

We were in el Paso visiting and played horizon a couple times. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the course was in good condition. We would play again.

My wife and I played this course years ago when we were first starting out. It was very busy and since we were beginners we didn't enjoy it much. We went back today having a much better idea of what we are doing and had a good time. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the course is in good shape with fast clean greens. Overall it's an easy course to play, all the holes are pretty long so you get to use all your clubs and from tee to green there's really not much danger. The fairways and approaches are very open, it's pretty hard to get in any real trouble if you are fairly accurate so I would definitely recommend it to players who can "lose it" from time to time lol. My wife had a good coffee at the new Chatham coffee shop, we'll play there again.

Good value for area as a nice lunch is included. Though an unremarkable layout, the tee boxes fairways and greens are all in good shape and well maintained. We will be back.

We were in Sarasota for a week playing golf, we like to go to lake Venice it's a municipal no tee times on golf now (they don't take tee times, but try them out it's good course by private plane airport),anyways we saw bent tree on golf now for 25 bucks breakfast and lunch included. We're like a doughnut and coffee wouldn't be bad so we got a tee time. Listen, this is a nice course. We pulled into the subdivision and were like ok this looks nice, then the breakfast was a full buffet, scrambled eggs sausage links and patties, bacon potatoes toast oatmeal coffee and juice. Lunch is sandwich bar with cold cuts chicken salad or a good dog. Full bar and nice clubhouse if you want a shower. I highly recommend you check this out if you're in the area. The food is weekdays only I believe

We play here every week, it's a nice course they have 3 9 hole courses one is longer the other 2 are inside the sub division and are pretty short. The 18 holes you play are the long one and one of the other two in rotation. all the courses are in good shape more often than not, and we tend to finish in a little over 2 hours so it's nice for Sunday especially with the $15 green fee.

My wife and I play every weekend usually penbrook and somewhere else. The golf now deal for 15 or 17 bucks is a great deal for a nice course. They have a nine hole out in the woods that is longer and two nines more inside the community that they rotate on for your 18 with the longer 9. The course is always in good shape and it's never so crowded that you have to wait to play very much. We generally finish a round in a little over 2 hours. Staff is very nice always accommodating there's no starter since it's not usually crowded but they still keep good control on tee times. We definitely recommend to anybody for nice course good value
