Great course, poor pace

Beautiful course - first 6 holes pace of play was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed it & my mate and I started off great. However, after that (and even worse on the back 9) the pace of play was AWFUL.

There was a terrible bottleneck being caused by two young kids who would hit the ball 3-5 yards over and OVER again...... WHY WOULD THIS BE ALLOWED ??? Take them to put put....

The hold up got worse by an older man with a bad knee who could barely hit the ball & was taking his sweet time walking around.

It was very frustrating because the course has so much potential. It's a beautiful course full of long par 5s & 4s with uphill fairways and groovy greens. Very driver & short iron/ hybrid friendly. However, I don't think I'll come back because the pace of play was horrific - my mate and I skipped the final three holes because 4 hours later we still weren't done. (Probably would have taken another hour at least to finish up)
