Very well maintained course with good variety of challenges at one of the better economical courses in Nova Scotia . We played just behind a tournament but was not delayed any more than expected.

Had an early start Friday morning the weather was good could smell smoke from a forest fire a few miles away but it wasn't heavy and seem to disappear but could hear the choppers going to the near by lake getting water for firefighting. On time no waiting and always an easy warm up start on hole 1 par 3. Greens were very good conditions and fairways a little on the dry side giving a good distance roll. high lights include hole 6 a challenging hole Amen corner so called trying to go over the cider for a difficult challenge manage to sneak to past to the right of the cider giving a good second shot to the green for a par

We were fortunate to get team up with Merv and Bernice which was an excellent paring for us with them knowing the course and being our first time there. We had an excellent day on a course in excellent condition. If your tee ball is 100 yards and up it can be an enjoyable round of golf with 13 par 3s giving the short game challenge, with par 4s for that appeal to long ball strikers. There was lots of deer around the course which seem to very tame.

Being 31 March it was a little early for this course even though favorable weather lately it was extremely wet in areas . Difficult to take a swing and hit the ball properly when sinking a couple inches from shifting weight on the feet. Balls were being plugged and after a high pop up in the center of the fairway I had one ball high off the tee on 10 I could not find even though seen where it landed I just think it sunk out of sight as I was sinking beyond the top of my shoes in the search of the ball. There was many temporary tee boxes . Paid the full price of the power cart even though we did not get full use of a power cart as it was a must to stay on the cart paths. I have been here twice before but I did not believe it was as friendly as I remember but I did see good interaction with people who was familiar with them. Wasn't always clearly marked where the next hole was. Thank to golf now for the deal I received on a normally overprice course.

On the first hole off the tee you don't want to get far with a straight shot unless you want to go over the pond the fairway narrows and the second shot you will have trees . The second hole drive can put you over the hill and it is wet in the low area The second shot you should land on the right of the green due to the slope . After the second the course is fairly dry up to the 7th hole. The greens are in excellent shape and only a few wet spots on the fairways but no casual water.

Can't get any better in Canada in January playing golf on a well maintain golf course. Carts had to stay on the cart paths, the course was really wet but there was lots of rain on days before our outing and expected . I thought there ought to be a discount for the cart rental because you can't get full usage but they charge full price. The greens and fairways were meticulous, excellent height and the staff makes you want to come back and I will. The regular members playing all were seniors and very friendly

We have had very wet conditions as of late and I found that the course was not as wet as I expected. I have been there before; other years and it was a lot wetter so I think that there has been some improvements. The course was in good shape in spite of the time of year. The cart path had pot holes that need to be fill in.
It was a damp drizzly day but a very good day for golf for me. I purchase the good deal golf now had for 18 holes but the tee off time only had 2 hours of daylight. I find the staff really appreciate their customers. I will go again

Nice wide very forgiving fairways with large greens built on off level surface difficult to read. 3rd hole was little tight with the dog leg right and from the 150 mark it is easy to mistaken the 6th hole as your green.

Has a few interesting holes 1st has a dog leg left just before the green making it difficult or impossible to drive all the way . 2nd is over a rock that takes away the view of the green on this short par 3 and has a mat to tee off on. 3rd straight good hole with hazards at the green.;4th your in the lake teeing of on a platform mat with tall trees on your right obstructing a clear shot to the green and requires a lay up to the left. 5th gives you a good opportunity for a long unobstructed tee shot off a mat.6th a very interesting hole that you take a board walk through a canopy of thick trees up the stairs to an elevated mat to tee off on over the lake inlet to an elevated green. 7th is a straight forward par 3 .; 8th a short par 3 from an elevation and 9th back to the club house with a good easy playing par 4.
