Played a good game with great people. Weather was hot and dry and so was the coarse, and so was i when we finished.

Always love to play myakika pines.. got lucky enough to play twice at a price i can afford. The hole staff and coarse were great. Thank you all.

Started to rain on us just after the first hole. Rain was lite and temperatures were good.. finished the front 9 and my friend and I were playing well. On the second 9 the rain drops seemed to be getting bigger and closer together but we were both having one of our best games in a long time. Finished up and were pretty much wet from head to toe with know regrets and glad we decided to play.

Took a good friend with me and got paired up with two other gentlemen. One said hi my name is Chuck. I said my name is chuck’. The other guy said my name is Gary I said I have a brother named Gary. So we kind of hit it off with a good start. We all had about the same skill level and had a fun day. Can’t wait to go back.

Invited a good friend to play with. Ended up playing with two other older gentlemen who played a nice game with the same skills as we did. The coarse was in great condition but mother nature’s wind worked against us half the time. I’am a snowbird and it was nice to see that Ian didn’t seem to do much damage to the coarse . Look forward to playing again

Ended up playing with with my friend who I had invited.. played through the foursome in front of us at the turn and and another foursome on #12. After that it was clear sailing.. some greens al little wet and soft around the edges but all in all the coarse was good. Well be back again. Good way to finish out the year

Played early morning. Starter got me out with a couple and another single witch I had the pleasure of playing with before. I guess the best thing about maple leaf is the coarse condition., so much better then most of the surrounding courses in the area. Not a long coarse but at my age I’am satisfied at the 18th hole

After the morning storm blew over the sun started to peak out a it was a great day for golf. A little windy but not bad. Almost had the coarse to ourselves. Glad we didn’t cancel

Need a ranger. Played behind a foursome that was slow for no reason. Took forever for them to tee off with no one in front of them. Have always liked the coarse. Was supposed to tee off before 2 didn’t get done until after dark

Stuck behind a slow foursome stuck behind a slower foursome. Back 9 opened up a little but couldn’t finish the round before darkness set in.. nice coarse better luck next time.

Every time I play this coarse I have problems when I get to tee box #8-9-and10. Can never get the correct distance.. otherwise it a very nice coarse in good condition. Had a nice afternoon

I thought it was a shame to see the coarse in such bad condition. It was one of the nicest coarsest around a few years back.. it appears to be getting lots of play and the price to play is not reflected in the condition.. hopefully something good will happen. Golf is supposed to be play on grass not dirt.. I wish I could leave a better review

Rained throughout the night and early morning. Was going to cancel but partner said let’s take a chance. Turned out to be a beautiful day. Rules say cart path only witch I can understand with all the rain, but the coarse was surprisingly dry. Good day but to much walking for this old man. Next time I’ll have to pass.

Picked the windiest day of the new year to play. I had made up my mind to swing easy and try to keep the ball low.. they say the wind dose not hurt a good ball. I ended up playing a nice game. Used my driver on some long second shots and it worked great . Played the back 9 myself. Had thought about canceling because of the weather but I’am glade I didn’t, the coarse was one of the nicest I’ve ever played

Coarse is a bit more challenging then others with smaller greens and water hazards. All in all its a great coarse and look forward to playing it again soon.

Got off the tee a little after 8am don’t usually like it that early because of the sand and grit on the ball. Played with two good guys lve never met before. Didn’t play my best but Myakka pines is one of the best

The place is advertised as Punta Gorda but seemed like it was closer to fort Mayer’s. My gps would not take me there I was ready to give up. My brother was driving and somehow he found the place. We left plenty early but got there right at our tee time. Went to hole one and the twosome waiting for us said they were lost also. I must say the coarse was great and the greens were the best putting I’ve played in Florida. Clubhouse not finished. Pro shop was a trailer. We found our way home and I can say it was worth the trip.

I normally don’t get to play this course until later in the year or after the first of the year. Usually the coarse is so dried out and in poor condition, but today things were looking pretty good. Another person told me someone else took the coarse over. I have always liked the place and hope to see improvements continue

Very nice coarse. With all the rain we got on Friday I thought the coarse might be very wet but only had to stay on cart path for 2 holes. It lived up to the good reputation that I’d heard about. I’ll be back

First time I played this coarse in a while. Forgot just how nice it is. Played with 3 other gentlemen who out golfed me, but enjoyed the game and all reddy made my next reservation
